I am extremely blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Hampden-Sydney College to further my academic and athletic career! Thank you to the good Lord for blessing me with the life I live and the ability to play the game I love. Thank you to my family who has loved and been with me every step of the way, building me into the person I am now. To my friends, thank you for the endless support and encouragement to reach my goals. Thank you to all my coaches who invested time in making me a better player piece by piece and helping me get to this point. Thank you to Coach Kimbrough and Coach Gibson for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Go tigers! #SOE @hsccoachk @bryson__gibson taken in Hampden-Sydney College by @grantjacques2

6’0” | 165 lbs | Combo Guard (RPT) | 4.4 GPA
Jacques is a high-IQ senior combo guard who can absolutely shoot the leather off the basketball. The moment he crosses half court, defenses have to pick him up because his range, quick release, and elite shot-making constantly apply pressure. Close out late or fail to show your hands, and you can count the basket.
He’s more than just a shooter. Jacques is an outstanding decision maker who consistently makes the right read, handles the ball with confidence, and plays with an extremely high motor. While he may not look like the most explosive athlete at first glance, he has plenty of sneaky athleticism that shows up in every aspect of his game.
Jacques has also become a fierce competitor on the defensive end, bringing toughness and intensity on every possession.
Off the court, he’s just as impressive. Carrying a 4.4 GPA, Jacques demonstrates the discipline, work ethic, and character every college program wants.
Whoever lands this young man is getting a player who can compete for a starting role from Day 1 on most college teams taken in Winston Salem State University Gaines Center by @grantjacques2
