Looking back at my freshman year at UA, I see a year full of regret and emptiness. I lived for the world and for the people around me. I completely ignored the way that God has called us to live for Him and his kingdom. “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭

Luckily I serve a merciful God who always desires for us to come back to Him. I entered this summer looking to make a change and luckily God has blessed this summer and this week of WIRED and shown me His desires for my life. I was baptized at my home church and started a journey of pursuing Christ the way we were all designed to. I know that when I return to UA it will not be as easy to stay on the path that God desires but I know that through prayer and the Lords help it can be done. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬

Thank you God for this summer and this week of WIRED and the people you have placed in my life. Thank you for loving me and desiring a relationship with me despite my own sin.
