The electricity is still flowing through my veins from Brochella 2! It was such an awesome night!

I think I’m going to be a little vulnerable with this post. At one point in time, I had crippling stage fright. It developed after I decided to walk away from being in my band that consumed at least 3 years of my life when I was 18.

I guess writing my own “mid” songs and performing alone created a complex that genuinely made me feel as if I wasn’t good enough and from there on, anytime I took the stage all knowledge of what I could do and play would go blank and my right leg would shake vigorously. I was like a deer in head lights. I was deathly afraid of fucking up because I didn’t want people thinking less of me as a musician.

To this day I still find my mind drifting and creating the doubt but I’ve found methods of meditation and creative ways to avoid it. I thought long and hard on removing the part that I messed up within this song but what the hell, mistakes are what make you human and I’m damn proud of this performance and all the amazing musicians I shared the stage with. Thank you guys for letting me share the stage with you. 🤙🏻
