hope everyone had a happy easter :) these are the things God put on my heart this morning that i felt like i should share 🫶

(text below in the photos above aha)
I have two thoughts today as I have been contemplating the resurrection:

1. isnt it interesting that the two holidays that draw people to church are Christmas + Easter - both celebrations of the gift of his presence? Christmas celebrates the gift of the savior coming down, and Easter celebrates the gift of connecting with his presence. People are flocking to churches during these holidays to experience the presence of Jesus and I think that is such a beautiful thing
2. If you are hearing all the resurrection and new life vocabulary on Easter but you are actively going through something, or facing a terrible diagnosis, or feeling hopeless overall - there is space for you to sit in that; you may not have the healing or the resolution that you are hoping for yet but Easter is an opportunity to understand that it is promised. And Jesus sits with you through it and beyond/after it. by @grantwilliam05

took a quick jaunt up to mt rainier with my cheap little tiktok shop camera, my dog and my dad :)

also while youre here - heres some thoughts ive been having that i hope God will use to speak to you if this is also something youre struggling with :)

God has made it so clear to me lately that i really struggle with the fear of man.

i believe God has truly blessed me with the fear of the Lord, but often i catch myself worried more about what a boss, a friend, a future coworker or my parents might think of me than what God is thinking of me.

like when i sin or mess up or dont go the extra mile - i catch myself more often thinking "oh a future ministry person shouldnt be doing this - what would people think if they knew" or "what if my parents heard that" or "what if my boss saw that i didnt pick up that messy pile of clothes" rather than thinking "does the Lord want me to do this?" "is this loving like Jesus would want me to love" "how can i go above and beyong to glorify God in this?"

i think this is such a huge struggle for a lot of people - and i always used to dismiss that i even struggled with this because if you know me i do crazy things in public in front of people i dont know so i never thought i really had a fear of man - but lately i have been realizing that i am more worried about disappointing those around me than pleasing God (and accepting his grace when needed)

all of this to say - remember that what others think does not matter in comparison to what God thinks AND God can love you better than any person could and gives you infinite grace (and hes always with you so he already knows what youre doing but hes also in the trenches with you, fighting the battle!!) remember to abide in him! he cares for you :) by @grantwilliam05
