Yes- Dan and I did perfectly time a “Live Photo” instead of taking your average joe video. Just felt right, you know?

As our “See You Soon, 2023” post we first want to reiterate how grateful we are to be welcomed into your spaces on Insta. We also want to reiterate how infectious your powers of participating and purchasing our products became- we were constantly encouraged to reach out to the next organization with the confidence that y’all were backing us. And God- in all of his mercy and grace, set us up as a team with gifts to share and continued to challenge us in those gifts as we made things outside of our comfort zones.

2023 is going to look a little differently around here as we are going to make according to our direct community’s needs. As you, friends and family reach out and ask for our help, we will be jumping on here to make and to share and to donate 100% to their cause.

In between those phases though, Dan will be studying for his architecture exams and I will be pursuing artistry full time. Keep sending us your Grapefruit Studios stuff as they live and thrive outside of these Instagram squares. Stay tuned for the surprise product drops that might still frequent this page. Reach out if you have any prayer requests or monetary needs.

We aren’t going any where, just tackling new adventures!

In 2022 we donated 100% of our proceeds to 10 different organizations.

Because you guys believed in who we were supporting and what we were making, we were able to donate just $10 shy of $2,000!!!
That is seriously incredible.

God really taught us about his provision and faithfulness through Grapefruit Studios. He cares about your neighbor, the people in your community, the strangers that you’ve never met, YOU- and I hope that what we set out to do here really illuminated that in your little corner of life on Instagram. He cares, so we care. by @grapefruitstudios

December
did we make too many items for this month… not if you decide to bundle them, then it’ll just be like buying one 😉
We set this up a little differently so that you can get whatever your little hearts desire:
15$ … 1 soy wax candle infused with “evergreen” essential oils
10$ … 1 wooden Christmas movie ornament
10$ … 1 salt dough classic ornament
25$ … mix and match any 3 ornaments
50$ … get all 6 ornaments
we will calculate price for shipped deliveries based on what you get, just dm us
… all proceeds will be donated to @generate.hope

We blended all of our favorite things from this year- wood working with a CNC router, painting (of course 😅) and candle making. We love all of these little guys and we hope you do too! Join us in celebrating the holidays and giving to all your loved ones.

As Always,

Every month Grapefruit Studios donates 100% of it’s proceeds.

We have said it before and we shall emphasize it again… Dan and I, Grapefruit Studios, we are all just here to aid the organizations that are already putting in so much work to help those around them. We exist to magnify Kingdom work that is taking place in our own backyard and around the globe. We exist to love our neighbors. Per usual, @generate.hope knows exactly what to say in order to educate and inspire:
“GenerateHope approaches the restoration of the survivors of sex trafficking with a long-term, individualized care strategy. We recognize the specific journey and needs of each survivor. Our team works with her to create a plan that will help her discover and achieve her God-given dreams and goals. GenerateHope acknowledges that the healing process takes time and is committed to the long-term care for each woman on this journey.”

Donating to this organization for the month of December is our greatest honor. Visit http://generatehope.org to read about all the other ways we can support their mission! by @grapefruitstudios

November
it’s a two in one for 12 homes- wall decor and/or plant propagation wall hanging:
1 wooden wall hanging w/ 2 peg hooks
1 leather strap for easy mounting
1 brass nail
1 brass screw
1 wall anchor
2 sea glass propagating jars w/ copper wire
40$ for local deliveries
and 55$ for shipped deliveries … all proceeds will be donated to refugees through @lightsandiego

We love that this month’s product can have multiple uses. Need a place to store your bags at your entry? Love your plants, but running out of shelf space to keep propagating them? Want to fill that gap in your art gallery wall? This little buddy can do all those things and more…
Lol look at us- sounding like a tv commercial now.

The soft sea glass in the jars compliments the warmth and sturdiness of the leather/ wood combo; pop some greenery into these and you have yourself a lovely piece of art. Dm us if you’re interested in having these move from our hands to your walls 🤗🌱 by @grapefruitstudios

Every month Grapefruit Studios donates 100% of it’s proceeds.

November has brought us back to our local roots. In a month that reminds us of all the things (physical and otherwise) that we have to be grateful for- it also reminds us of the mission we have to help those who have not. Just an hour from our San Diego home, there is a church that has been taking care of refugees from all over the world, providing all that they can to give them a sense of home and belonging. They’re helping people get back on their feet. We are very excited to be donating through Light Church’s connection with this church in Mexico.

You can learn more about all this church is doing to offer asylum @lightsandiego or at their website https://www.lightsandiego.com/compassion . As always, if you can’t afford our product this month- please consider donating directly to their cause. Here’s to being more like Jesus. by @grapefruitstudios

October
a simple set of matching tea towels for your cute little kitchen:
hand stamped and painted with fabric paint
2 tea towels per set
15$ for first set
7.50$ for every set after that … all proceeds will go to @nazdreamcenter

I designed the stamps. Dan cut the stamps. I placed the stamps… you get the idea! It has been one of our simplest ‘making’ joys this year and we loved every second of it. Tea towels are a hot commodity in our home- used for cooking, cleaning, drying dishes, etc etc. We hope you use these in every way possible too and that you enjoy them thoroughly! Choose between 3 different patterns- fall flower power, local summer sea shells or outdoor activities for the win. Let us know if you’d like to keep the towels black and white or you’d like them to carry color as the pictures depict!

Just adding one unique “home maker” piece to your life, one month at a time! 🫖🏠 by @grapefruitstudios

Every month Grapefruit studios donates 100% of it’s proceeds.

For the month of October, we will be donating to NAZ Dream Center, an organization that homes people who age out of the foster care system. Please read below for a better understanding of how they love others:

“Imagine if, on your 18th (or 21st) birthday, you were cut off from all of your previous support. No parents, no counselors, no case worker- suddenly, the expectation is for you to find a place to live, buy food to eat, furnish your new living space all while trying to finish school or find a job. This is the reality for a majority of young people that age out of the foster care system. Is there then any surprise that
-20% are instantly homeless
-7 out of 10 girls are pregnant before 21
-60% of kids that are sex trafficked have come from the foster care system
Simply put- this is not ok. Northern Arizona Dream Center (NAZDC) wants to see these statistics changed for our young adults in Northern Arizona. NAZDC provides transitional housing for these young adults. Is housing enough? We don’t think so, so NAZDC is also a ministry that provides accountability and mentorship to help these amazing humans build a foundation for life long success.”

We are excited to come alongside all that they do to love on the youth in this way. Please visit their page on @nazdreamcenter to see more details or their website at www.NAZDreamCenter.org by @grapefruitstudios
