Website updated!

For all the information, inquiries, and our new Riso Print Cost Estimator, please go look around our website because we’re too busy — just like the stereotype of creative workers everywhere.

Also, we’re now accepting print-only jobs. That means we print your design, while the cutting, binding, and other finishing bits are yours to arrange.

We’ll leave those parts in your capable hands — we believe in the DIY spirit, after all. And who knows, you might even enjoy figuring it out along the way. 🫶 by @graphic.handler

Diterbitkan bersama @sanggar_ikhtiar , Graphic Handler, @cirebonbound & @petrikorbooks , 2025

Within The Teak Leaf Wraps traces the tradition of nasi jamblang as a reflection of social, economic, and cultural relations rooted in the practice of sharing. The book highlights how vendors and customers build solidarity through small gestures—an extra portion for dockworkers, special prices for laborers and porters—forming part of a moral economy grounded in empathy. At the nasi jamblang table, social class boundaries dissolve: workers, office employees, and students sit side by side, united by the same teak-leaf wrapping. Through narrative and culinary documentation, this book invites readers to see the economy not merely as a transaction, but as a space of togetherness and collective continuity.

This year, Press Print Party brings together 98 exhibitors from Indonesia and abroad, representing a diverse range of publishing practices, from independent presses and collectives to writers, artists, and makers working across different forms of printed matter.

The diversity of backgrounds and practices is part of what makes the fair a space for exchange, where different ways of making, publishing, and circulating ideas can meet.
