We went to see JP play we had great hang 🔥clem was so cool and so appreciative of the vf sticks 🔥 i’ll never forget he came to Vic Firths birthday party in California we rented out the top of a restaurant and everybody was there and he came up to me and said thanks for inviting me to this. It’s one of the coolest parties I’ve ever been to in my life. It actually beats out the Clive Davis ones🔥🔥🔥

many people don’t know that AJ was originally a Jazz Drummer. He actually took lessons from Gene Krupa, He was the youngest drummer to get into the New York big band . He went to around the world and played but he had to take his mother because he was too young. 🔥He was a powerhouse behind the kit and you felt it when he played 🔥🔥🔥

In honor of black history month here’s a pic I found from old namm show vic firth dinner 🥁 I took over 20 of the best drummers to dinner and some where not vic firth but they where part of the drum familia 🔥 I took the pic and then said no way i want in on the pic 🥁 I made all of us stand under light pole when we got out of restaurant ❤️ what a night 🔥 🔥🔥🥁🥁🥁

John Sykes Rip ❤️ I remember seeing him with Blue Murder at the Ritz in New York City. !!!opening up was Billy Squier
That blue murder album is one of my favorite albums and also one of carmine appice’s best drumming in my book. 🥁🥁🥁🥁I just remember the show and he was just so bad ass making me gravitate toward him 🎶🎶🎶 I also remembered Tony Franklin had no shoes and socks on and I was like what’s up with that👌it’s ny 🥁 also his work with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake 🎶🎶🎶

Amazing when you meet one of your idols when you were growing up and find out, he’s such a cool and great person.
