First time experiencing Super 32 🙌🏽 Went in on his down year, no cutting & made it to the quarter finals in a stacked bracket. Took an L in the quarters to an outstanding wrestler who ended up winning the entire bracket. One match shy of all American status. Walked away with a few wins, a lot of lessons, & hungry for next year 😤😤 Congrats to everyone who wrestled hard this weekend 💪🏽

Huge thank you to @seannydeec and @victory_academynj for inviting Roman to compete in the Victory Academy #AllStar match event at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ this week. 🤼‍♂️

It felt great to be back in NJ and even better to be back on the mats with so many familiar faces and talented wrestlers. We’re incredibly grateful to Victory Academy for welcoming Roman in, allowing him to drop in and experience the room, the training, the culture, and ultimately allowing him to get the full #VictoryAcademy experience.

Roman had the opportunity to train with and compete against some great talent, including a tough opponent who brought an exciting, hard fought match. Those are the opportunities that challenge you, sharpen your skills, and make you better. Much respect to everyone who stepped on the mat and competed.

Beyond the wrestling, we’re thankful for the friendships, connections, and memories made along the way. These are the experiences that make this sport so special and continue to shape Roman both on and off the mat.

Thank you again to @seannydeec, @victory_academynj, the coaches, wrestlers, and everyone involved for making Roman feel back at home and giving him an opportunity to be part of something special. Don’t sleep on this program… they’re going to do BIG THINGS & we’re glad to support it the whole way! 💪🏽

Until next time, NJ. 🗽🤼‍♂️

@rafwrestlingusa @rafnextgen #FanZone was such an awesome experience! Huge thank you to these incredible athletes who took the time to spend hours with the kids before stepping on the mats themselves. This is so huge for the sport and such an inspiration for these young wrestlers. 🙏🏽🙌🏽 Got to meet some of the best to ever do it and then watch them go put on a show👏🏽🙌🏽 #RAF #RAF12 #Nextgen #wrestling by @grapplekid

Still thinking about this weekend and how awesome the RAF Next Gen Wrestling Tournament was. The production, the talent, the competition, the fan experience. @rafwrestlingusa @rafnextgen really did their big one with this event series. 🔥

As wrestling parents, we get to see a lot of tournaments, but this one was different. Getting to watch some of the greats of the sport and then watch these young guys go out there and compete on the same platform was pretty damn special. The broadcasts, the atmosphere, the way the kids were showcased…it was all so well done. You could tell how much work went into putting this event together.

We hear all the time that youth wrestling “doesn’t matter”. Well, this weekend was a pretty awesome reminder that it absolutely does. It was so refreshing to see this much time, effort and investment put into the next generation of wrestlers. While the wins and losses will fade, these are the types of memories that will last a lifetime.

Huge thank you to everyone at RAF who made this happen and gave these kids an experience they’ll never forget. We’re so glad we made the trip and got to be part of it. After seeing the talent out there, I have a strong feeling this won’t be the last time we see some of these kids on TV. 👀 @rafnextgen @rafwrestlingusa @izzystylewrestling @chad_bronstein

Also a big thank you to @johnnidijulius for spending so much time with the kids this weekend and sharing wisdom, technique, and lots of laughs with them. You are so inspiring and have a real gift for this. Congrats on your win as well!

Thank you to everyone who watched and home and supported Roman! 🥹 all of the photos and videos you sent of watch parties & the tvs on and ready really made him feel so special.

First RAF event for us… definitely not the last. Fans for life. ❤️‍🔥🤼‍♂️ #RAF #Nextgen #wrestling #wrestler #youthwrestling

Dictate the pace. Heavy on the attack. Constant motion. Be Relentless. 😤

We don’t chase easy matches. We chase growth.
Tech fall in the finals over an opponent ~10–15 lbs heavier. Keep seeking the hard road. That’s where champions are built. 💯🤼💪🏽 #hustle #wrestling #wrestler #youthwrestling #youthwrestler by @grapplekid
