This video, from TEN YEARS AGO, was my submission for the WOB Drink It Intern contest. That was my gateway into the craft beer community, which welcomed me with open arms and gifted me with so many wonderful friends. I don’t get out as much as I used to but this place was a landmark in my life and I miss it already 🥲

TLDR; @strongropebrewery is closing the Gowanus location and I’m sad about it #2016 by @grassowhat

Telling Wiley about how almost 21 years ago my parents drove me up to this dorm at the corner of 10th and Broadway with all my earthly possessions and there was absolutely no protocol on where to park or how to unload all the possessions. It was the hottest day of the year and after standing in a very long line for a big plastic dumpster on wheels I moved in and met some of my best friends and we had the time of our lives in this haunted building that had decades-old wall to wall carpet and no air conditioning. #nyu #blessed by @grassowhat

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday so here’s one pic where he looks pretty 🔥 and one pic where @sirigby and I are gazing at him adoringly.

Just a punchy lil Japan pic for your Friday afternoon. This is what cabs look like there. Retro! Fun! The doors open automatically!
