Now this is a remake I wasn’t expecting! Old-school hitmaker @melisamorgan1 puts her soulful spin on #TevinCampbell “Always in My Heart.” One R&B generation showing love to another, and she sounds GOOD! *Tevin was one of my 1st R&B crushes, baybay I played his cd’s OWT!! A true fan!*

Listen, when I saw the notification for “E.U.,” I said, “Wait… ‘Da Butt’ E.U.?!” 😂 This was soooo nostalgic! I was about 10 years old when this came out, and it had the radio and video popping!

“Da Butt” is from the cultural phenomenon School Daze, directed by Spike Lee. And I had to remember that Go Go music is to D.C. what Juke music is to Chicago. If you know, you KNOW! So nostalgic! 🙌🏾

Whew chile🪭…when I say @therealmaryjblige tore that stage up..TOW IT UP…she sang ALL THE FYE AZZ ALBUM CUTS…this one, “Don’t Go” off the chart topping “My Life” album. Mannn…I was in high school singing like I was being taken through there. 🤦🏾‍♀️ A forever melody of not being loved right, but to the right tune. ❤️❤️❤️ #FYP #MaryJBlige #CMF #MyLife taken in Paycor Stadium by @gratebritton

Despite his recent temporary medical setbacks, Uncle Charlie, bka Charlie Wilson, has worked his way back onto the stage. It was good to see him back in the spotlight and doing what he loves. Peep out his performance of “I Want To Be Your Man” by Roger Troutman & Zapp. #CharlieWilson #FYP #CMF @imcharliewilson by @gratebritton

Alright” - ledisi from her third studio album “Lost & Found”. One of my absolute favorite songs by Ledisi. The song you go to when you need to remember that it’s temporary and will eventually be alright. Be patient, don’t give up it’s gonna be alright. Necessary for that season. #Ledisi #FYP #CMF by @gratebritton

When I say that @therealmaryjblige got tf off this weekend, she got Off!! This was the best performance I’ve seen of her in concert. I was up Dayam near the entire hour and fifteen minutes of her set. She looked good, sounded good and danced her azz off in them boots. She also sang ALBUM CUTS, 🪭whew chile, if more artist understood this 🙌🏾. Whatever that Vegas residency doing for her, I love it. A time was mfn had. Check out, “Love No Limit (remix)” from her 1992 debut album; “What’s the 411?” Banger. #QueenofHiphopSoul #MaryJBlige #FYP #CMF taken in Paycor Stadium by @gratebritton
