Origen, crecimiento, entorno e historia.

-

Before transforming a material, you need to understand where it comes from.

Origin, growth, surroundings and history.

At Grato, the selection of each piece of wood begins long before it reaches our hands. It starts with our knowledge of the land it comes from and with a deep respect for what makes it unique.

Materia. Conocimiento.

-

Material. Knowledge. Precision.

Some details are determined by the material itself.
Others depend on how we know how to work with it.

Observar. Entender. Decidir.

-

Observe. Understand. Decide.

Because transforming the wood also means knowing when to intervene and when to let it speak for itself.

-

Everything begins long before we can see it.

In time, in its origin, and in a material that follows its own rules.

-

Kaare Klint understood design as a matter of proportion, use and precision. The 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 clearly reflects this vision. Inspired by folding campaign chairs, Klint reinterpreted their structure through wood, canvas and leather to create a light, detachable and timeless piece.

Surfaces flooring in a herringbone pattern makes the installation itself part of the design. Its geometric layout adds rhythm and visually elevates the space, turning the floor into a focal point.
