The personal blessing of @gravityblaster

My favourite track from the album is by far the title track, Blessing of Despair. As a drummer this is the most fun to play. It has a little bit of everything: cross stick beat, the fastest blast beats of the album and some improvisation fill stuff before outro. I also really like the huge changes in dynamics and chaotic outro.

OFFICIAL SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT & ALBUM ART WORK REVEAL

We’re extremely proud to be a part of the Transcending Obscurity community and join the ranks of such awesome bands as @replicantnj , @imperialist_official , @sisyphean.official and @veilburner_official among other greats!

We’re ready to unleash our debut full length ASH BLIND later this year! This album encapsulates the way our music has organically grown in the past few years with crushing walls of sound, screeching vocals, and hopeless melodies full of crushing hatred. This album has been in the works for some time now and it echoes material found on our earlier works but is a whole new beast in itself.

LABEL STATEMENT:

BAND SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT: Atmospheric/dissonant death metal band Devenial Verdict from Finland!

We're honoured to work with a band of the calibre of Devenial Verdict who've improved upon their sound tremendously for their debut full length, Ash Blind. The Finnish death metal group are playing a form of atmospheric/dissonant death metal with a refreshing approach and have a sound that encompasses both intense parts and expansive passages, without eschewing the emotive quality which is too often the case with this style of music.

Alongside the awe-inspiring artwork done by the great @mariusz_lewandowskiart we also unveil the track list of the album:

1. Hope
2. Pravum
3. Ash Blind
4. Sun Hammer
5. Mourning Star
6. The Contemptor
7. Inanition
8. World Breaker

Devenial Verdict is:
Drums – Okko Tolvanen
Guitars – Sebastian Frigren
Bass – Antti Poutanen
Vocals – Riku Saressalo

Due to unfortunate events our friends from Sepulchral Curse and Cauldron of Hate had to cancel their shows on Thursday.

We will play our show on Thursday as planned, though we’ll play a longer set with some rarities mixed with songs from our upcoming debut album. Showtime estimated 20:30.

Finally got my new Starclassic Maple kit from @levytukku I ordered in back in August but due to pandemic related supply chain disruptions it was delivered just before Christmas. It came just in time for @spiteborn single recording sessions!
