This first almost 6 months of parenting has been a journey. I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.

@elysse.dumont (Goerss) I’ve never had any doubts about your mamaing but you have exceeded all of my hopes and dreams as a caring and loving parent.

I love our little guy and I love you! Happy first mamas day as a mama woot woot!!! (Side note for your inner reading voice - That paragraph started soft and finished off in a shout🤪🥳 )

I know @elysse.dumont already did a post but now I wanna do one too. But a little different.

First, it is our first son, Sugi’s, 2nd birthday today so just gotta give him a shout out. Best dog we could ever ask for. Him and Juna are gonna be pals for a long time. I love that.

I’ve always thought Valentine’s Day was corny and commercial but nowadays I don’t mind having a day I can tell my person I love them. How can I hate on a day dedicated to love. That’s how I’m seeing it.

I love my wife and baby mama! I always knew I loved her and that she was strong but as a Mama, and holy shit seeing her go through labor and birth I know this is a badass woman! More on the birth story another time but wow…what resilience and grace. So proud to call @elysse.dumont my partner in life and I’m loving everyday of raising our two boys together. Sugi was a perfect warm up. Can’t believe it’s been 2 years!

And quick shoutout to my little Juna man. Couldn’t have asked for a sweeter little son. He’s my little valentine (just made that up) - but there’s a piece of my heart dedicated just for him and this first Valentine’s Day with him around I’m pretty stoked. I didn’t know my heart had this little piece of Juna love but wow it runs deep.

Now I get to post something about our little man! Juna Sol Goerss is now 10 days old and his due date was today. Born right here in the cabin.

I have never been through an experience quite like labor and birth. The entrance of a new soul into our world. Where do they come from? Did they choose us to be their parents? Are they reincarnated? Who is this little person? So many questions I’ve philosophized about before but now I feel confronted with under new circumstances. Not just my life I wonder about, but my child’s.

So much to say, but one thing I know: this is a new kind of love I haven’t felt before. So small and precious. I think this is what magic feels like. taken in North San Juan, California by @graybaybay

Hello world. Meet Juna Sol Goerss. He’s 9 days old today. We welcomed him on 11/17 at 6:07am, born at home under the care and support of my sweet sweet husband, cousin @sandrainthe.sun and midwives @mackenzierosemidwifery
This kind of love is beyond, we’ve been so blissed out and in awe at our son. Birth is wild. We love you infinitely Juna Sol, you’re perfect. I love love love getting to know you❤️ by @graybaybay

Little baby moon 🌙 with my wife aka baby mamaaaa (!!!) @elysse.dumont . What a special trip.

Didn’t really bring our phones anywhere with us so these are about all the pics we got!

First time in the Caribbean, the DR showed us a good time. Always some hiccups but we came out on top and feeling renewed.

10 days gone and the garden took off. Thank god I got all that irrigation done.
