🏇 Meet 2026 Great Sports Legend Edgar Prado!

One of horse racing’s most celebrated jockeys, Edgar Prado is a Hall of Fame jockey, Eclipse Award winner and three-time North American riding champion. Among the defining moments of his remarkable career was his victory in the 2006 Kentucky Derby aboard Barbaro.

On October 5, we’re proud to honor Edgar at the 41st Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner in New York City, celebrating his extraordinary achievements and lasting impact on the sport.

For more than four decades, the Great Sports Legends Dinner has brought together champions from across the sporting world to help raise critical funds for The Buoniconti Fund and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and advance the search for a cure.
