A collection of our favourite shots from our Director's Cut for @nespresso

The brief:
Capture captivating, ASMR like visuals for the Nespresso products to launch their new 'Fast Asleep' campaign.

The gear:
- @venuslaowa probe lens
- @freeflysystems wave slow motion camera
- @sonyalpha A7Siii with @atomos.global Ninja V
- @amarancreators 300c and @aputure.lighting 600d for the main lights

The results:
Using a probe lens alongside high-speed cameras presented a unique set of challenges on set, but it ultimately resulted in some of our most rewarding footage from the past year. We wanted to challenge ourselves to capture unique specialty angles, and while the top-down falling shots were particularly complex to execute, we are thrilled with the final result.

Because audio is half the experience, we focused heavily on sound design for this edit. Utilizing music and SFX from @lensdistortions to produce a moody, ASMR aesthetic and drive the emotion.

Sano - The Director’s Cut

As we look back on this project, we come away proud at how we pushed ourselves to go above and beyond at every step. The ambitious studio shower set build, the rigging to pull off the on-location scenes, and the 3D renders and composites to realize the vision. We learned so much throughout this project and we look forward to bringing the lessons learned to all our future productions.
