Alter Ego, the new collection from @backdrop marks the second collaboration between Backdrop founder Natalie Ebel and artist and creative director Xavier Donnelly.

THE PENTHOUSE, THE BUREAU, and ILLUSION DE BOIS. A collection inspired by the decorative illusion of surface, translating architectural materials into wallpaper through hand-painted wood burl, paneled millwork, mica-coated grounds, and high-gloss finishes.

A closer look inside Zach and Samantha Bryan’s Manhattan townhouse, designed by Alan Eckstein of @thesomersethouse and featured in the November issue of @archdigest.

From stained white oak walls and a rich palette of leather, iron, copper, and timber to family photographs, an oil portrait referencing Zach’s time in the Navy, and a guitar gifted by Bruce Springsteen, the home brings together considered design and pieces of the couple’s personal history.

Alan Eckstein of @thesomersethouse brings Zach and Samantha Bryan’s Manhattan townhouse to life, featured in the November print issue of @archdigest.

Drawn to the home’s original architecture and lived-in character, the couple worked with Eckstein to create a space that feels warm, comfortable, and distinctly their own. Vintage furnishings, rich wood finishes, and personal keepsakes come together in a home that reflects their story, with a nod to the building’s history.

Introducing Fortunae, @ginori1735’s new giftware and home décor collection.

Inspired by the Renaissance-era Game of the Goose, once associated with the Medici court, the collection translates centuries-old symbols and emblems of luck—including geese, dragonflies, horseshoes, four-leaf clovers, keys, ladybugs, and dice—into a refined, contemporary visual language.

Working with a couple seeking more personality from their newly renovated home, Eckstein layered the space with vintage furnishings, rich color, and custom details, including oak plywood wainscoting inspired by Jean-Michel Frank’s 1920s interiors. With roughly 80 percent vintage pieces throughout, the result is a home that feels collected, inviting, and deeply personal.

Inspired by Swedish Grace, the two new designs explore classical proportions, geometric clarity and an appreciation for craftsmanship, reimagined through a contemporary lens.
