With this being the 1st post of the new year its time to reflect on what was. The past year was an up and down roller coastercto say the least. It started off hot out of the gate with me following my passion with the entire year looking promising then it all went up in smoke. One thing lead to another life to a drastic turn after my best friend tragically passed away out of no where and I got stuck in very tough predicament for months on end. On top of that I busted my ankle which greatly affected me for a few weeks and I am just now fully recovered from it. I was hoping this would be the year that I would finally get my pro card but sadly it didn't work out that way so the pursuit continues. Last year represented a lot of missed opportunity side tracks and just plain derailment of what was supposed to be a turning point to something good. There was moments where I wondered if I wanted to continue even fighting these battles and contemplating just throwing in the towel with everything. I've been there plenty of times in life overall and still battle with those thoughts til this day but through all of that I'm thankfully still here and still grinding through everything. This time I don't have any new year resolutions. This time I'm playing this all by year and hoping for the best. Here's hoping this year ends on a high note. Last post as a non master. Late but better than never. So glad to go around the sun for another year. Tomorrow is a new beginning and a chance to be better than before. I wanted to post about this yesterday but with my in competition I just couldn't get to it right away. I'm a day late but better late than never. Some of u have seen this pic posted numerous times but for those of u that don't know I'm about to give yall a mini backstory. This is my hot model friend @cjsparxx whom a met over a decade ago and have been following her since my early 20s. Yesterday was ur milestone bday. In case u wanted to know how old she is u will have to ask her that. She's from and resides on the west coast but back in the last summer of 2016 I found out that she was coming to DC to visit for a couple days. This was a big time shock for me because even though I had always hoped to see her I never expected that it would actually happen. Sure enough the opportunity was there for me. The problem was that about a month prior to her coming I crashed the car that I was driving at the time which left me with no way to get to DC in time to meet her there. Lucky for me my late friend @dj_roc_mix frank had come over to my house to hangout like he routinely did back then. I asked him if he wanted to ride together with me to meet this chick for a little bit. While he declined the offer he was nice enough to let me borrow his car so that I could make this moment happen. The rest they say is history. I got to meet someone I never thought I would have the chance to meet and I owe this moment in its entirety to frank because without him this would've never happened. That shows u just the kind of friend that he was and I will be forever grateful to him for this. With that said join me in wishing this hot sexy lady a happy bday. With all that's been going on this year I remain even keel with everything. There's been plenty of highs and lows along with getting my ass handed to me a couple times. Aside from going through tragedy I wouldn't trade these moments for anything else. In the end I will come out of all this a better stronger person. Idk what happens from here but I know I'm going to do everything within my power to make sure this year ends off on a high note. I haven't accomplished all that I want to at the moment nor have I know the exact direction I want to take. It just comes down to deciding what u really want and taking the right steps to move forward. That time is here and I'm going for it all full speed ahead. I now have all the motivation that I need to conquer the road ahead and with a friend now watching up above this will be done in his honor. I know this is what he would've wanted for me and I don't plan on letting him down. Thanks for everything homie u will never be forgotten. by @grayt90

Its hard to even find the words right now. This is something I never would've imagined I would have to go through. I've lost ppl in my life before but this one hits at a whole different level and it's way to close to home. Yesterday while I was working I received the news that I never expected nor thought I would ever get. I was informed that my best friend of over 20 years since high school passed away suddenly. It's unknown what happened at the moment so we'll just have to wait til the facts come out. To say that I'm overwhelmed and numb is understatement. This is going to hurt for a while but I know that eventually I'll get through it. He was the closest friend I had in high school and was basically the only person that I hung out with throughout those 4 years. We spend so much time together doing almost everything u can think of including going to a few wrestling events over the years. We had a lot of things in common but none more common then the shared fandom that we both had for wrestling. He even reached out to me at one point about giving it shot when he saw that I was actively pursuing it so I can tell that I inspired him in a way. We've had our peaks and valleys throughout our lives often leaning on each other for support when we needed it the most. I would often ask him what his future plans were and while he could never give me a straight answer I had always prayed that he would eventually accomplish all that he wanted to out of life. I was looking forward to us both growing old together settling down and families of our own one day but sadly that dream was cut short. If u were lucky enough to know him like I did he was one of the most loyal ppl a friend could ever ask for. While he was very quiet and laid back he was very hilarious in his own weird way when he wanted to be. He was genuine caring loyal and everything u could ever ask for in a friend. There's a permanent empty space in my heart that will never truly be filled again. For those that don't know I also recently lost my uncle a few months ago and now this happens a few weeks later. Just goes to show life has a way of snatching the rug out from underneath u sometimes bu by @grayt90

We are now a few weeks away from the biggest show of the year for SSW. Lots a great action on tap including the main event which is going to be the aforementioned Rudy Rumble. It's gonna be a WWE style format 30 ppl enter one wins a guaranteed title shot. I'm hopeful for a mid to late entry but either way I plan on tossing out everybody in my path to get that top spot that I was destined to be in. I'm going to make a ton of noise and show out like never before. Can't wait to see all the fans up there it's going to be the show of the year. Big things are happening this year for me. Whoever thought that I would be at this point right now it's amazing. This is just the tip of the iceberg. This just started out as a small thought and only a dream. Now it's become a reality. There is more where this came from too. Better late than never it's going down tonight at Lovedraft's Brewing Co. Super Star Wrestling urs truly verus Kurt Blair for the 2nd time he thinks this will be the winds of change for him but he's sadly mistaken cuz I won't be stepping in the ring with the same guy as last time the real deal will come out on top again by @grayt90

Last post of 2024 didn't end the way that I hope but there were plenty of positives to build on for next year. It's already shaping up to be a great one from what I've seen. One thing is for sure it will be a breakout one for me in one way or another. Happy new year see yall in 25 ✌🏽✌🏽 by @grayt90

Had a great time last night at Lovedraft's Brewing Co. Wrestling for Super Star Wrestling the crowd was hot and I appreciate the support from everybody. That was a hell of a battle too. I'm sure this won't be the last time I cross paths with Kurt Blair but this time I came out on top. Can't wait to do it again 👍🏽👍🏽 by @grayt90
