It’s crazy to look back at where it all started. From local tournaments to traveling across the country, competing against some of the best players, and making memories I’ll never forget. This game has taken me places I never imagined. Thank you to every coach who believed in me, every teammate I battled with, and every person who helped me grow on and off the court. Most importantly, thank you to my family for sacrificing so much and supporting me through every step of this journey. None of this would’ve been possible without them. As this chapter comes to an end, I’m excited for what’s next.

Nathalio Gray Jr. put together another standout performance despite Team Lillard’s season coming to an end. The elite point guard finished with 19 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds, shooting an efficient 8-for-13 (62%) from the field. His blazing speed, elite shiftiness, and explosive first step kept defenders on their heels all game long. Gray consistently got to his spots, knocked down the mid range, created for teammates, and showed why he’s one of the most exciting guards to watch.

Team Lillard entered the weekend as the defending 3SSB champions, but their title defense ended at the hands of a tough Midwest 17U squad. Even in the loss, Gray Jr. proved he belongs among the elite, displaying high level shot creation, playmaking, and poise. The future is bright for this talented floor general.
