We’ve worked on this campaign for a few years in a row now, and every year it’s one of my favorite projects to sink my teeth into. This year we took the show on the road to Colorado, so the challenges were location, location, location. Tons of moving parts, multiple units, wildlife restrictions, etc. Eventually, we started in on the martini shot. We fired up the haze machine and the wind shifted. We chased it for what seemed like hours. But then, all of a sudden as blue hour rolled in, the breeze calmed. A lightning storm appeared in the distance. I made some of my favorite frames of all time. Felt like a mic drop moment.
