What is the one difference you will see at an NFL game in the UK compared to the States? 🏈

Look into a London crowd and you will see fans representing all 32 teams side by side. As former NFL defensive end @efeobadauk and @nfluk General Manager Henry Hodgson explain, British fans show up to celebrate the sport itself as well as their favorite teams.

The UK has become the ultimate testing ground for the league. From hosting international games since 2007, to launching the @NFL Academy, we serve as the blueprint for global growth, shaping how the sport expands into other countries around the world.

American football is now firmly rooted in British sporting culture.

Can a 19th-century British icon become a net zero building? 🇬🇧

At Kew, the Palm House is being carefully reimagined for the future. The project brings together British conservation, architecture, engineering, horticulture and botanical science to protect a historic glasshouse and the tropical plants it houses.

When complete, it will be the first Victorian glasshouse of its kind to become a net zero building.

This is brilliant example of UK excellence, applying deep expertise across heritage, science and engineering to solve a modern sustainability challenge without losing what makes the original special.

Kew Garden’s Palm House shows how the UK can preserve its past while creating practical, sustainable solutions for the future.

Right now, something heavier than the Eiffel Tower is hiding under the south stand of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 🏈🏟️

In just 25 minutes, the entire Premier League pitch splits into three and slides into an underground car park, revealing a bespoke NFL field right beneath it.

Designed by @wearepopulous, the stadium is the only venue in the world built from day one for both the @PremierLeague and the @nfl. Making that moving pitch a reality took serious expertise.

It highlights exactly why the UK remains the perfect stage for world sport. With the technical precision to design and build complex projects at this scale and a culture that lives for game day, we have everything needed to host and electrify the biggest events on earth.

Who are you backing at the @nfluk London Games? 👇

To tell a story this magical, you need puppets ✨

Behind the scenes of @totoroshow, an ensemble of performers known as ‘kazego’ act as spirits of the wind to breathe life into the production. Every character is hand-made and hand-held, turning puppetry into a masterclass of acting and personality.

Bringing these iconic animations to the stage takes world-class ingenuity. Building on the legacy of the UK film industry and pioneering shows like War Horse, British theatre excels at uniting international talent to create something entirely unique.

The ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ stage play, created by Studio Ghibli in collaboration with @thersc, is proof that the UK is where ambitious stagecraft becomes unforgettable magic 🎭

How do you read a 2,000-year-old scroll burnt shut by a volcano? 🌋📜

You use a light 11 billion times brighter than the sun. At @diamondlightsource, researchers digitally unrolled ancient papyrus from the Mount Vesuvius eruption to read text unseen for millennia.

Operating around the clock, scientists here are developing a foot-and-mouth disease vaccine worth over $1.3 billion globally, accelerating drug discovery, mapping battery chemistry and testing jet engine parts for Rolls Royce.

It all happens at @harwell_campus, home to over 6,000 scientists, this world-class UK facility draw researchers from across the globe, situated on a 700-acre site.

With a rich history of research and the infrastructure to back big ideas, the UK provides a space where the international science community can collaborate to solve challenges no single country could crack alone.
