PRAYING BLESSINGS OVER JULY! WE LOVE YOU GREATER GROUND FAMILY! by @greatergroundhtx

As we come to the last day of June in John, we get to hear a real and raw message from @justisesmith - owner of @capturedbyjustise.

Adonai, we pray right now acknowledging that you are Lord of all - and our Holy place. We pray that whoever is listening and behind this screen gets or got something out of this Bible plan that only points back to you. We are grateful to call You friend. Grateful for every voice that You have gifted to speak over this month, and grateful for what you will do in July.

We speak a blessing over the people behind the screen watching, that may be in a difficult season. Lost, or confused. We pray that they are rerouted to the resurrection, and reminded that you have fought the biggest battle of all - and WON.

Jesus we thank you for all that You’re doing. Inside and out. We love you.

-Greater Ground.

JUNE IN JOHN🪻: As we are closing out June, we get to hear a powerful and encouraging word from @mcgregorgarrett

John 21 is so personal, because it shows the heart of Jesus even after failure.

After feeling separation from Jesus including the denial of Peter, the crucifixion and the constant confusion, the disciples go back to fishing.. something familiar to them.

How often do WE do the same though?

When we feel disappointed, ashamed, or unsure of what God is doing, we run back to old patterns, old comforts, and what feels safe. But Jesus meets them there with His presence.

Jesus is not intimidated by our failures. He knows every weak place, every regret, every moment we fell short, and He still calls us back to Himself.

JUNE IN JOHN: today, we get to hear a powerful and encouraging word from @thetaylorgracedavis on John 20

Can we just say: The tomb was empty!!! The stone was rolled away!!! What looked like the end was actually the beginning!!!! JESUS IS ALIVE AND LIVING!!!

What stood out to us most is that resurrection didn’t just prove Jesus had power over death, but it proved that God always has the final say AGAIN.

Death said it was over. Grief said hope was gone. Fear said hide.
But God said LIFE.

Jesus first reveals Himself to Mary while she’s weeping. Before correction, before commission, He meets her in her grief. He calls her by name, and suddenly everything has a turn.

sometimes we’re so consumed by pain, disappointment, or confusion that we can’t recognize Jesus even when He’s near. But He is still present, still pursuing, still calling us by name.

JUNE IN JOHN💐: we had some technical difficulties, but we are back! Let’s hear a powerful word in John 19 from @zekejcarrasco

Chapter 19 was hard to read because it forces you to sit with the weight of what Jesus actually endured for us.

The mocking. The beating. The humiliation.
The cross.

What stood out to us most is that Jesus had every power to stop it, yet He chose to endure it.

That wrecked us so much because it reminded us that the cross wasn’t just something that happened to Jesus. It was something He willingly carried out of love.

Every nail, every wound, every drop of blood carried purpose.

And when Jesus said, “It is finished,” He wasn’t speaking from defeat, He was declaring victory.

Sin no longer had ultimate power. Shame no longer had the final word. The debt humanity could never pay was fully paid by Him.
