It might suck.. but if not, This LIVE show will be a Masterclass in tension, anticipation and ecstasy. Orchestrated to bombard your senses, pull you into a story of complex mystery—and, quite possibly banal, yawn inducing offense. You may even leave half a song in, or be disappointed in yourself for coming at all… Every sudden movement, captivating beat, and deliberate shadow will tell a narrative of intrigue—or awkward mediocrity. Don’t ask me to come waste your time. That’s on YOU. IM NOT KIDDING. Sometimes people win the lottery—but usually they don’t. Buy my Mastercla$$ for FREE (I’m not sure how much entry is). Come to my cadre school for Guns ‘N’ Roses and profound insecurity. Insecurity so deep you will become weightless at the center of the Earth! Afterall, it isn’t faith without doubt, right? I will evangelize you in the ways of deep, spiritual conflict in my pariah cult of One. Witness first hand, authentic, nervous breakdown as performance. Spontaneity & botched repetition. DO NOT to moss it😎 maybe,, if you want ? Who cares HELL YEAH, HEAVEN PLEASE
C U there😬❤️‍🔥 (w @sharifs_ego on 2nd gun🎸) AT PERMANENT RECORDS LOS ANGELES W/ @chaseh0yt & @ndytokar 5:30 PM ON THE DOT EARLY SHOW!! I FUCKED UP ON THE PICTURE! Hey!!

I could rave about slash’s playing all day long. This music is one thing that keeps me alive and inspired amidst all the depressing news of assholes trying to destroy the world… hard not to qualify anything shared without this caveat in these times

Slash is deliberate yet spontaneous, chaotic yet refined. Lyrical, even descriptive. The greatest soloists, of any stripe, approach the moment as singers or “talkers” who create concise statements, or stories with a beginning, a middle and an end. Always melodic. *Never* sloppy... (at least not on studio recordings, ha!) Switching from the deep pocket to the prompt edge of the groove whenever required by the nature of the music, in an instant. Rhythmically varied. Eschewing the monotony trap of noodling in a singular subdivision, or the musical equivalent of a run on sentence. I won’t name names, but unfortunately many players—even revered players—commonly succumb to this less than succinct place. Slash never does. Accelerando, thrashy staccato and fast, shattering, glassy legato on demand. Intuitively, he slides or hammers on/off in providential blasts. This matters, again, to negate banal repetition. He plays the melody. All this makes for perfect phrasing. Indelibly relaxed and tense only when the music requires tension. And his tone… His tone is like if neon were a sound. Bluesy, Spanish Punk, but not corny, like that sounds! REAL Rock N Roll. ….And he’s soloing across a back drop of emotionally driven chord changes played by a rhythm section you don’t even notice i.e. THE PERFECT rhythm section. Anyway, Slash ain’t no Hack. Gnr rules

This is the solo from “Don’t Damn Me”, I’ve got it pretty close. It’s a fierce song, so it requires a fierce solo, which it is. Did my best to loosely approximate the tone with what I have, but the real deal is untouchable (guitars/amps/volume/his right hand attack vs mine, etc)
