Introducing, Ash!

Ash was born and raised here in Austin, Tx , and has been drawing her entire life! Art has been her everything, and even as a child she wanted to pursue tattooing.
It all started when she saw her parents get their first tattoos when she was but just a wee lassi. She thought “wow, I wanna put permanent art on people someday too!” . From that point on she had done career projects throughout middle school and high school about wanting to be a tattoo artist. She was determined. Like really determined.
After high school she went to the art institute for a year for animation, which led into her decision that she was not an animator but still an artist, and shortly left. She then worked at other jobs as well as her father’s coffee shop in pursuit of finding her dream art job. She tried everything. She even had two apprenticeships throughout the years, but had unfortunately ended up not working out because they were not her right environments (extremely toxic *cough cough*).
With only left with little hope, she then thought “I’ll never be where I want to be”. When all of a sudden, the opportunity presented itself. One more try at an apprenticeship.
Four years later, wait maybe 5…no definitely 4…my bad. She has been tattooing this entire time! She now co owns Green Aura and is where she wants to be. It’s like a weird tattooed Cinderella story, but with a good ending where Cinderella gets to tattoo!
Ash specializes in fine line, black and grey, fantasy, realism, and illustration! She is always open for booking and is ready for your ideas!
You can DM her or email her at zentatts97@gmail.com to inquire ✨❣️ by @green.aura.studio

💚Artist Spotlight💚

This is Brandon, but most know him as B. He’s a self-taught, handpoke tattoo artist who has been working on his craft for the last six years with a focus on black and grey, fine line pieces.

His curiosity for tattooing started when he saw a small tattoo online & realized it wasn't done with a machine. Since he didn’t know what handpoke was, he bought a kit online. Almost immediately, he was tattooing fruit, himself, and any friend that would let him! Things really popped off once he moved to Austin and found a big tattoo community that existed here. Like many, he started tattooing out of his home studio while still working a regular corporate job, but he knew he wanted to tattoo full time eventually.

B had the privilege of working at one of the only Black Female-Owned tattoo shops, Nanas Prayers. That really felt like his official debut to the Austin scene. Unfortunately, Nanas closed, but that led to doing tons of guest spots and meeting & working alongside more incredible artists. Green Aura was one of those guest spots that instantly felt comfortable and fitting the vibe he’d been looking for.

B is taking customs, and his books are currently open !! DM to book & follow @b_infante_ ✨️ by @green.aura.studio

Introducing Sabrina!
Sabrina is our resident anime tattoo artist. Other subjects she likes to tattoo range from manga, video games, to surrealist fine art
She loves black/grey shading, clean line work, and gradients.
Sabrina grew up watching anime, starting with a Sailor Moon VHS tape from Blockbuster. Growing up, her favorite genre was shoujo anime, and she even still owns her original Fruits Basket manga books! Nowadays, she watches/reads shoujo, shounen, slice of life, horror, and romance anime + manga.
She spent all of her childhood drawing, painting, and writing. Her heart was in the arts, but after high school her parents told her to get a real job and she got a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After two years in the industry she left engineering behind and followed her dream to become an artist, and started tattooing <3
She is now going on her 4th year tattooing, and 1 year of being a co-founder of Green Aura. If you’re at the studio, you’ll probably hear her laugh before you see her. She’s also known for being a huge fan of Faye Webster + Beabadoobee and playing them on repeat all day until someone asks her to change the playlist.
Sabrina’s passion for art, animation, and anime shines through her tattoos. When she’s not working, she’s watching anime, sewing, playing Genshin Impact, watching her friends twitch streams, and napping with her two chihuahuas + husband Jose 💚
Sabrina’s books open every 2 months or so, make sure to follow her @ratitattoo to keep up with her availability!

I’m pregnant with news…. I’m returning to tattooing!
I’ve had a blast this past summer becoming a mother and all of the transformative and hard work that comes with. But I’m ready to return to my career tattooing and find my balance again ^_^
Until I get my footing, I will be working just two days a week, with priority going to returning clients + ongoing projects. As always, I will post the link to my booking form Friday morning.
Raternity leave is over and I’m so happy to be back! My little baby rat thanks you all for your patience 💝 taken in Round Rock, Texas by @green.aura.studio
