Hello, My name is Chari Cuthbert Haehl, steward of the Greene Manor hives.

I’m a beekeeper in training and a student of the seasons. The light, the bees, and the garden set the pace and I’m learning to keep up.

I’m always curious and always creating, finding new ways to make our home gardens into a beautiful place where bees, pollinators and birds can flourish.

This is where I’ll share what I’m learning, one small, lovely detail at a time. I’m glad you’re here. 🐝

Happy May Day!
In France, today May 1st May Day is celebrated as La Fête du Muguet (Lily of the Valley Day), where giving small bouquets of this fragrant white flower to friends and family is a tradition believed to bring happiness and good luck. #gardening #flowers by @greenemanor

Harvested in small batches
from our Greene Manor hives,
each piece of honeycomb holds
the essence of wildflowers and
fruit tree blossoms.

Golden and floral, it offers
a pure taste of the season
— just as nature intended. by @greenemanor
