Did finish up my 2.8 with the help of @corneliusgoeritz over @goritzsixfix . Now the car has less smoke and less poke but thats ok. This motor is for the 914. I need to post a comparison from this motor to the old one. Luckily I have help.

What’s car life without car friends? A little while ago I managed to find a 951. This could only mean one thing. I had to buy it. It was 5.5 hours away and I had no way to get to it. Enter @galavantory if you don’t follow him, probably do. We drove my 944 down to go get the other one and he acted as co driver and photographer. Lacking a place to put it I recruited @jdmsolberg out of guilt for not coming with. The white 944 has since been sold and now I have another project. Because I’m nuts. But man I’ve always wanted a 951. So huge thanks to my friends for enabling me.

F$&king finally. After collecting parts since about 2015 and in earnest since 2019 it’s finally going together. Short block assembly is complete thanks to @goritzsixfix. Hopefully this one will be another screamer.

Proof I don’t always make great decisions but some engineer made a worse decision by trying to put 5 relays inside of one relay. This should be a fun experience. by @greeneperformance
