Our new track ‘Vagabond’ is finally out today! From its debut within the cavernous heart of @brooklynarmyterminal’s atrium, Vagabond began to cast its ominous shadow across the industrial expanse. Taking inspiration from Paulo Coelho’s literary masterpiece, ‘The Alchemist,’ Vagabond blends the brooding rhythms of techno with unconventional melodies and sonic architectures closer to trance. We drew on conjured visions of a solitary wanderer - a vagabond of the soul. This macabre symphony beckons us on a journey across a forgotten landscape; an abyss of enigmatic dystopia, from which escape is but a distant memory.

Some of the most beautiful moments in life can be found in the depths and intricacies of certain friendships. They exist like ornate doors, morphing with ethereal fluidity in our minds. We need only step through them to lose ourselves in reverie; a persistent reminder these dynamics can never be repeated again. In this beautiful way, grieving the death of a friend or family member will always be a profoundly unique experience.

Music as a medium of communication, breaks all language barriers. It is an artform that, when paired with ambition, is able to capture all the nuances, complexities and the essence of the creative soul in its infinitude. Back in 2008 from his music alone, we were introduced to Gigi Bezhanishvili. Eight years later, a friendship developed that we will cherish forever. Rest in peace Gigi. It’s been said that in the blink of an eye, something happens by chance - when you least expect it – setting you on a course you never planned, into a future you never imagined.

I’m forever grateful for a split second decision I made on a casual summer night in June, a decision that led me to the majestic day that was Sept 24, 2022. Joining hands with my beautiful wife @kristen.george, surrounded by our closest family and friends; the greatest gift I could ask for ♥️🥂

I met Jason David Frank when I was twelve years old. He was guest teaching a karate class and promoting his school “Rising Sun Karate.” I always found it inspiring when an actor’s personal pursuits mirror who they are portraying on screen. There was no question, watching him teach that class, Jason was a great example of this; fully immersed in martial arts. The integrity in the air was extremely evident from my first footstep in the dojo. Years earlier, when the 1995 film “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie” came out, I remember being so inspired by his confidence, presence and kindness on screen.

In 2000 I met Trevor when I moved to NY from London. We were friends living on the same street, and happened to both love dance music. Trevor introduced me to Cosmic Gate’s records and taught me how to DJ. We followed Cosmic Gate as big fans through high school and college. While attending college we dedicated nearly all our free time to learn every aspect of music production. We signed a record for the first time with @blackholerecordings in 2010. Our first record to organically catch Cosmic Gate’s attention was “Portal” in 2015. It’s now 2022, and this Friday we are releasing our first collaboration with @realcosmicgate! This is a huge milestone for Trevor and I. A serendipitous journey from fans on the dance floor to collaborators in the studio. If you want to support us please follow our page @greenhavendjs 🙏

I'm having dinner tonight with my Abuelita, Hilda Arroyo Guevara. Tomorrow is her memorial service in Barcelona. I would be there now if I was feeling better. So I figured the next best thing I could do would be to have one last dinner with her; just the two of us. I spent the day cooking into the evening, the best meal I know how to make: a lasagne from the legendary Rao's restaurant in East Harlem, New York City. I poured myself a glass of Catalan wine, and poured her a glass of vermouth on the rocks. We talked about how she fell in love with my late-grandfather; how he arrived at the radio station where she worked as a radio host, filling in for an actor who couldn't make it that day to read opposite her (apparently rather badly) in a few scenes of radio theater. She told me despite her steadfast independence as a single mother, disregard for gender norms in the workforce, nothing she said or did could sway Lucho from tirelessly trying, and eventually succeeding in courting her. We talked about her love of music and how happy she was to be in the crowd among younger fans witnessing my dad play with his rock band, Red Amber in the 70s. It was a wonderful meal and in my heart I know we enjoyed each other's company. I put my hand over hers and raised my glass to toast to her, an inspiring, strong, progressive woman, who lived a fulfilling life into her nineties with a network of love and admiration scattered across the world.

Thank you @kristen.george for saying yes and taking this next step with me. I’m so grateful we have each other and have the love and support of such incredible friends and family behind us. You’re more than anything I could have dreamt up in a life partner. I remember the first time I saw you; my pace slowed to a stop on that street corner, as I marvelled at your beauty. Getting to know you has made me realise how lucky I am to find someone who reciprocates the love I have to offer in full. I feel privileged to spend the rest of my life learning to love you more than yesterday.

This day, the people present, the planning leading up until the moment, and the celebrating that followed; I was definitely nervous but everything came together in such a magical way.

Huge thank yous to @kristopherjfreeman and @kaylz27 for hosting, coordinating, decorating and of course ordering such bomb pizza. Thank you @williamespinelm for your fashionable advice and cleverly persuasive texts. @bshaughn02 and @megsauceboss for stocking the party with the best cookies on planet earth!
