A place often misunderstood as a factory owned by Seiko, today I had the chance to go onsite personally and look at the capabilities of Epson.

From Zaratsu case finishing to textured dial stamping and finishing. Then on to movement assembly of Spring Drive and manufacturing of high end watches such as Credor Eichi and Minute repeaters.

The capabilities of Epson is really amazing but so much of it has not been covered or made known to the general public. I would recommend everyone to take a serious look at the new M45 and M34 to have a feel of the amazing work of Epson and Orient Star.

One of the highlights of my recent trip was Parmigiani new releases and factory tour. Special thanks to @timeless_experiences for the invite and also our tour mate CF for planning some itinerary along the way.

The new Parmigiani Toric is something you really have to see in person, the full platinum case is my favourite with a very clean greenish dial which feel warm and nice instead of loud. The full gold movt just adds the weight to the platinum case and buckle making it one of the most solid pieces for WnW 2024. The Toric also comes in rose gold with a creamy off white dial version.

This year also sees the launch of the PF skeleton in blue, the iconic case and comfort of the bracelet is one of the best in the industry. Love how they made it look so simple yet extremely classy and wearable.

Stay tuned for part 2 on the factory visit, still sorting out the >600 photos taken for the trip. 🤓
