Conclusion, the sensor might be bad.

All live infrared temp results relative to @landrovertrinidad standards are well within spec (slide 1) we did not cross 80•c at the Neutral High level, 45 mins into testing and high revs. There’s no thermostat, so coolant temps are ‘straight through’. Upper radiator hose temps higher than the lower on the return line so I think we’re good. No boiling coolant either within the last week of concern.

On today’s episode of ‘@tevaughnalleyne trying to be smart because he’s slow’ we’re using a @klein_tools Infrared Temperature gauge, with ChatGPT’s knowledge of @landrovertrinidad 1978 Series 3 Temp Sensor to diagnose if my coolant sensor is bad OR if there are bigger issues within my cooling system.

I might have grown too familiar with my vehicle temps, however, the gauge reads 🆘 too often within the last month. Could I simply be the warm Caribbean weather or naw 🤷🏿‍♂️, what’s your guess?
