Purea nei e te hau
Horoia e te ua
Whitiwhitia e te ra
Mahea ake nga pōraruraru
Makere ana nga here.

E rere wairua, e rere
Ki nga ao o te rangi
Whitiwhitia e te ra
Mahea ake nga poraruraru
Makere ana nga here,
Makere ana nga here.

Cleansed by the wind
washed by the rain
and warmed by the sun,
cleared away are all troubles
and all restraints got rid of

Fly O free spirit, fly
to the clouds in the heavens,
warmed by the sun,
with all troubles cleared away
all restraints got rid of,
all restrictions cast aside.

On Sunday 20th October at 8am
I held my Fathers hand as he took his last breath. A single tear traversed the bridge of his nose and I watched him pass over.
After a long hard battle with cancer, he’s finally at peace.
My first love and first death
I was 33 and he was 66.

Please don’t ask me to call, or check in if I’m alright.
Treat me like a new mother, hyper alert, not sleeping, exhausted, running on adrenaline forgetting what day or time it is or how to care for myself.
Yet the difference is I’m witnessing the other end of the life, and it’s so heavy on the heart.
Two weeks ago I brought my Dad back to his home from hospice to care palliatively for him.
It’s been immensely beautiful and heartbreaking.
I’m torn between being the little girl trying to save her father and the pseudo adult taking on a huge load to honour my father’s wishes.
Wheel out the bins, cook me a meal, send me practical support as I try to walk this transition this with grace and compassion.

With my ladies, frolicking in these waters..
○
Springs pouring out of the earth.
○
I decide whether I make the plundge....
Conclusion: Life is too short to not.
○
Every inche of my skin feels alive, activated, dancing with sensations....
○
The water was beyond Cold...
So greatful I got to swim thru this magical wonderland..

Special Island getaway...
In
Greece 🇬🇷 💙
Beyond greatful to have been on these lands.

Made a suprise to a dear sister on the way back to Australia.
Successfully pulled it off!

It's been a big dream of mine to make it to Greece one day ✨️
Finally did, and it far exceeded my dreams.
This land is something else.

The people are super relaxed.
The lifestyle is slow.
One thing I have deeply enjoyed about Europe..
People really take their time.
Also got to furfil a dream of eating feta with every meal..

Thank you, Greece. taken in Greece by @greenleafylady
