“The common thread is that everybody shares a sense of stewardship for the mountain itself and the community.”

‘Green Light’ follows Breckenridge Ski Patrol and Avalanche forecasters— who rise before dawn to keep the resort safe. At its center is Green Light Tuning and Sam Simonds, a ski shop where the smell of hot wax mixes with stories from the field. It oozes with soul and commitment to the lifestyle and doubles as therapy and gathering place for patrollers and the ski community. It’s about the people who hold the line between chaos and calm — mountain souls bound by snow, sweat, and a bond that only winter can reveal.

It’s bittersweet to announce that I moved Green Light out of the Airport Rd location in Breckenridge. The lease was up so I decided it was time to point ‘em downhill and straight line it on outta there.

For the last 8 seasons, the absolute best part of Green Light has been the people that came through my doors. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and spend time with so many incredible humans. To all of you that visited and supported Green Light over the years, THANK YOU!!

I’ll be working on fireplaces this winter with @consideritdonecolorado and ski patrolling part time at Breckenridge. Contact me for installs and repairs on gas and wood fireplaces. You can also hit me up for binding mounts, ski boot modifications and the occasional edge replacement. Message @greenlightbreck on IG or email greenlightbreck@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

I’m looking forward to more free time for skiing and traveling, but I can’t stay away from the workbench for too long. Stay tuned for my next ski biz.

See you on the hill!
