Some wedding days just have a little extra magic to them.

Lauren & Ben’s spring wedding in Evanston had all of it — perfect weather, incredible light, emotional family moments, and a dance floor that never slowed down.

After an emotional first look at the Hilton Orrington, we made our way over to Alice Millar Chapel near Northwestern’s campus. Between the classic architecture and that sunny spring light, it was the perfect backdrop for portraits with the couple and their wedding party.

Back at the hotel, Lauren & Ben were married beneath a beautifully lit chuppah, surrounded by family heirloom tallits that had been passed down for generations. Those details carried so much meaning for the couple and their families, and made the ceremony feel even more personal.

And once the glass broke… it was on. The horah was wild, the dance floor filled instantly, and Greenlight kept the energy high all night long.

Exactly the kind of wedding I love documenting as a Chicago wedding photographer and wedding photojournalist — real emotion, great people, and moments that unfold naturally. Congrats to Lauren & Ben!!
