A new project has begun! Follow along to see each step in the process of making a custom Grey Warden banner from Dragon Age. To begin, I’ve created a digital rendering of what the banner will look like upon completion. taken in Lewisburg, West Virginia by @greenroofstudio

Narsil, the blade that was broken, embroidery is finished and being sent to its new home today! But I couldn’t sent it off before doing a reveal of it finished! The back might be a little messy (as most embroideries are) but the front pops!

If you want your own custom embroidery art piece, DM me! Commissions are currently open, but can close quickly! taken in Lewisburg, West Virginia by @greenroofstudio

@gen_con Just when we thought the adventure was over…ONE LAST RANDOM ENCOUNTER!
@jrschorlunch and I were literally about to leave Gen Con when we ran into one of my absolute favorite actors, voice actors, and Actual Play creators, @luis.carazo!
Running into Luis again was the cherry on top of an already magnificent hot fudge sundae of AWESOME. Seriously, what an incredible way to end an unforgettable Gen Con!
Can't wait to see what you do next in the space @luis.carazo !
May you roll nothing but Nat 20s!

@gen_con APPRECIATION POST:
I genuinely could not have asked for a better creative partner and co-DM for THE FALL OF ASHCALEEN than @jrschorlunch with @greenroofstudio (follow them!)

You are such a talented Dungon Master, an incredible in-the-moment improviser, and...more importantly...just a genuinely good person.

Odromia is a world I’ve been building, writing, and carrying around in my head and heart for the last seven years. Thank you for being so receptive every time I dropped an absolutely unreasonable amount of lore on you, for treating this world with so much care, and for bringing your own incredible creativity to it.

You made the story better. You made running it more fun. And I’m so grateful that I got to share the table with you.

You’re the best, Jacob. Thank you for helping bring THE FALL OF ASHCALEEN to life for all of our players at the table this Gencon.

LET'S DO IT AGAIN SOON!

ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT...
@jrschorlunch is such a great friend as well! Always great to have deep conversations or share in silliness. Also a friend that really hypes you up. In fact this whole week we were each other's hype men which was AMAZING!
JACOB is a real MENSCH in every sense of the word!

A portrait of my dog, Lena. I love how this piece came out, how I was able to capture her goofiness, her strength and personality, and her intelligence. She is a perfect lil bean, and now she has artwork of herself! My wife and I joke that she is the unofficial mascot of the WV state forests and parks, so I might have to get some merch made for her to promote her important role. taken in Lewisburg, West Virginia by @greenroofstudio

Welcome to Rivendell. I intend to create art of each of the locations and landmarks of Middle Earth—so far having Barad-dûr, Isengard, and Helm’s Deep—and Rivendell has been the most complex so far. It was also during this process that I learned Rivendell does not have its own sigil, but rather use the personal sigil of Elrond, hence “the House of Elrond.”

All landmarks are drawn using Krita.

One of my biggest highlights from my first GenCon was the moment the banners were delivered. I am immensely grateful to @simply_samurai, @tanktolman, and the rest of the Sentinels of the Shieldless team for this opportunity and for the incredible work they do to support the @childrensadvocacycentersofnc. They are all truly amazing people doing amazing things. taken in Gen Con by @greenroofstudio

When you have the best vending booth neighbors, but it’s the last day of the @wvrenfest, and it’s easier to shout your feelings than cry them out!

But we will still probably cry.

Look at all the cool art we have at the booth at the WV Ren Fest! Doing this reel was fun, especially given an excuse to show off the art for sale, and as I attempted a Jersey accent. taken in West Virginia Renaissance Festival by @greenroofstudio
