Oh how many people & places I have been,
In such a short amount of time..

I often feel like I’m not my age..
That I’m stuck 5 years behind and 10 years ahead, all at the same time.
How do I indulge without overdoing it?
At what point is leaning into your desires deemed “too much” or “too far” or “too weird?”
To then still turn around, powered by “maturity,” looking sideways at childhood tendencies and using judgement as weaponry to those who remain holding hands with their shadows and “inner me’s.”
Though I observe, I’m not the watcher.
I’m too pulled to being enthralled and immersed in the rare blips in time that life allows me to explore..
Whether through a deep talk, a long embrace or a tongue kiss.
I deserve all the yummy things these moments bring me on a platter.
I deserve to be deserving, and I’m learning how to feel the depths of it.
I deserve to relish in the fact that I have been everything to so many, but often miss the opportunity to experience the entirety of myself.
I’m renewing myself in this new energy.
Feeling the uncomfortability of my missing pieces coming back to me.. a puzzle unfinished, reuniting.

Forever & always on the journey of becoming my best home.
