POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Somewhere along the way, I stepped away from this little corner of the world.
But the messages, the memories, and the people who kept a place for me here reminded me that some things are worth coming back to.
So, here we are again. 🤍
Welcome back to Green Valley Gable.
There’s a lot I’m looking forward to sharing- from the farm and the garden to old recipes, simple living, and the things I’m trying to remember.
Come on home.

It’s who I am 🌻 A girl from the heart of Appalachia 💙💛Cottageville, West Virginia.

The older I get, the more I find myself reaching for the things I grew up with. 🍂

Come spend an old-fashioned autumn day with me on YouTube. New episode of Green Valley Gable is waiting for you. Preserving What Matters | Appalachian Fall Porch Decorating and Real Pumpkin Puree 🤎

I’d go here. ❤️ Growing up, we’d gather every Sunday morning around Mamaw’s table for biscuits and gravy, stewed apples, fried potatoes, and fresh sliced tomatoes from the garden.
Nothing fancy, but everything made with love. And somehow, that table always had a way of making you feel like you had everything you could ever need.
There won’t ever be another table to top hers. ❤️ #appalachia #mamaw #countryliving taken in Cottageville, West Virginia by @greenvalleygable

A skillet full of sausage, a homemade biscuit, and a slow Sunday morning. Just the kind of simple living I’ll never get tired of. 🤎 #castironcooking #countrycooking #appalachian by @greenvalleygable

SURPRISE! 🎉 WE GOT A FARM! There’s a story behind this farm, and a new chapter we’re just beginning to write. I’ve shared all about it in my newest YT video, The Place I Belong: Welcome to Our New Farm. 🤍 #appalachia #countryhome #generationalfarm #countryliving taken in Gallia County by @greenvalleygable

RICH IN LIFE because my 7 yo daughter said, “this is the best day ever!” while we added pumpkins to our porch.

I hope she always remembers that some of the best days are the simple ones.

Like an October day decorating our porch for fall 🍂

When you grow up without much, then finally get everything you thought you wanted—only to realize you miss what you had. 🤍

I’m sharing more of that story in my newest YouTube video. Come on home.
