This type of initiative will bring closed-loop system to enable circular economy.

We have adopted this habbit when we used to buy cold drink bottle in glass containers..

We can do the same for other plastic containers.

Happy Women’s Day to all

We have started an initiative to integrate and empower more rag-picking sisters in the value chain of end-to-end waste management system in order to make an inclusive and decentralized model.

With the help of these Safai Mitras, we have successfully processed and diverted around 5 tonnes of dry waste from the disposal site in the first four months. We appreciate their work, which is often overlooked by society.

We established a solid waste management system in which approximately 3500 HHs now segregate their waste and 80 percent of the generated waste is recycled or composted. And around 17 Safai Mitras are now getting livelihood from this human centric approach.
Our next target is to make this centre self-sustaining so that we can open more of them to multiply our small outcomes to achieve big goal.

Waste source segregation awareness campaign was organized as phase 1 of the end-to-end waste management system for the Nasirabad Cantonment Board during October -November 2021.

It was a tremendous experience to engage with all the stakeholders in the campaign. With their support, we have achieved almost 75% of source segregation (around 3500 houses and shops). It will help us to make a closed-loop waste management system for NCB.

Nukkad natak has been organized at Nasirabad Catt. to spread awareness about swachhta and source segregation. A beautifully painted upcycled bottle made by local artisan was given to CEO sir and school in appreciation for their support.
