Virginia has been awesome for me on the weekends, and this has been the most fun I've had shooting. Today, finished 20/79 overall, 12/29 in CO, and from the looks of it, top of C class (which I know means jack shit). Hope to get more done and keep progressing to do well next weekend. taken in Cavalier Gun & Pistol Club by @greg_does_guns

Looking side-by-side at back to back Steel Challenges is pretty eye opening. Sure there was a level of familiarity my second time, immediately the day after. Just makes me realize I need to dryfire more. Been slacking. by @greg_does_guns

More @thesteelchallenge but at @middletowntraining. 6/15 overall; 1/5 CO. Of course, videos look like hell here so check out my YouTube. Link in bio taken in Middletown Training by @greg_does_guns

Did my first @thesteelchallenge at @quantico_shooting_club and had a great time. Videos in the post are cut off (so check those on my YouTube channel, link in bio), but took 4/17 in CO and 14/43 overall. Met a lot of great, welcoming people along the way. by @greg_does_guns

Did my first USPSA match that included four qualifiers. I was really hoping for B-Class going in, but C it is. Forgot to record THS Short Course unfortunately, but it is what it is. Had a blast and look forward to more!

Edit: looks like some video cut off. Full video on my YouTube channel. LiNk In BiO! taken in NorthShore Sports Club by @greg_does_guns

Had a little range day at my neighbor's. Both green, especially to PCC. Hit the poll with what platform you like to practice and/or compete with most! taken in Wadsworth, Illinois by @greg_does_guns

June Caliber IDPA match ✔️ 10/22 overall, 8/14 in CO

Not incredibly happy with how I did, but got sloppy and rushed things. Strong and weak hand continue to be a challenge. by @greg_does_guns

3rd IDPA comp in the books back in April. Much smaller field due to Indiana State Championship being the same weekend, but happy to snag 1st in CO and 2nd overall. Strong hand work felt good (and of course I forgot to turn on my GoPro for that stage), but weak hand and tactical reloads need some work. Also need to clean the lens on my light.

Shout out to my wife for dealing with me disappearing here and there to dryfire or go to the range 😘 by @greg_does_guns

Bit of a dip finishing 14/25 at [March 2026's] Caliber IDPA match. Things I need to pay more attention to during training sessions: round count and shooting while leaning. Still had a blast, and this time I remembered to record all but one stage. Need to do more consistent dryfire too 😬 by @greg_does_guns

"Shot my first @shootidpa match [back in late February 2026] and did pretty damn well finishing 11th out of 30. Super happy and had a blast. Looking forward to doing more. And of course, thank you to my incredibly supportive wife 😁". by @greg_does_guns

8/31/2025: First competition in the books. Lots of nerves, bad second event, but happy to come home with these! Big thanks to my wife for her support and keeping me sane! by @greg_does_guns
