Timeline Tuesday 🎬
Finding the rhythm, shaping the performance and building the story one cut at a time.

Nothing like seeing a timeline start to come together.

Cuts, sound design, music, dialogue, transitions, all the little pieces that eventually turn a pile of footage into an actual story. This is the part of the process I love most: shaping the pacing, finding the rhythm, and making every cut earn its place.

One timeline at a time. 🎞️

Timeline Tuesday 🎬

This is where the story really comes together:
balancing picture, pacing, sound and structure one cut at a time. Every layer has a purpose@and every edit is about making the final piece feel effortless.

The timeline may look complicated, but the goal is simple: keep the audience engaged and let the story lead.

Timeline Tuesday. Where the story really starts taking shape with one cut, one sound cue, one frame at a time. 🎬✂️

This is a short clip from a wedding video I edited and graded

Color shapes emotion.

From flat log footage to a warm, cinematic finish — this wedding film grade was designed to preserve natural skin tones while enhancing softness, depth, and romantic warmth.

Trailer edit and full color grade completed in DaVinci Resolve for Fracture. I handled picture editing, look development, and final color to craft a dark, stylized tone that supports the film’s atmosphere and narrative.

This project highlights my workflow across editorial and color, delivering a cohesive final piece from cut to grade.

#TimelineTuesday

Can’t show the video yet but I got permission to share part of my timeline.

Every color tells a story.
Every cut is a decision.

This is what the work actually looks like behind the scenes: layers of picture, sound, music, pacing, revisions, and problem-solving stacked on top of each other until it feels right.

Messy timelines. Clean results. 🎬✂️

Timeline Tuesday:
Layers, trims, and micro-decisions you’ll never notice—
but you’d feel if they were wrong.

Timeline Tuesday.
Every color block tells a story: revisions, notes, experiments, and breakthroughs.

Editing is where the film truly finds itself.
Proud of the work, the process, and the final cut.

The part of filmmaking most people never see.
A little glimpse inside my Avid timeline from a recent project: layers, sound beds, little trims, and all the invisible decisions that shape the final story.
