As Sly is celebrating the triumph of #tulsaking there is one issue that has been looming for 45 years: The ownership of his Rocky character and franchise. The producer Irwin Winkler has kept this from him out of greed. when he and United Artists famously bought the screenplay and the rights to the character. Hopefully justice will happen and #sylvesterstallone will have ownership of the character and story that we all love so much. #oscarwinningmovie #lovestory #rockybalboa #unitedartists #irwinwinkler #screenplay #bestpicture #yoadrian #philadelphia #fathercarmine #pma #greggrosen #pulpogallery2023 #wegerichfineart #creedthemovie #apollocreed #carlweathers #jerrysaltz taken in Philadelphia Museum of Art by @greggrosen

Painting from when I was a young artist. Does it still hold up? Can we see the forms and shapes of description that would later become an abstract language? Does a young painter foreshadow what he will do later?
