Already dreaming about the energy we’ll create together this year. Can’t wait to see you all on the dance floor.

THE SUN STAGE OPENS: GREG HILIGHT ☀️

Before the solo project, there was a band and a didgeridoo. For three decades Greg has been the breath inside Hilight Tribe, the French crew who named their own genre — Natural Trance — and built it entirely by hand: trance you can dance to, except every kick, drone and percussion is played live, no computer holding it together. There’s even an early Tribe track called “Greg Didge.” The name was never a coincidence.

That same rule runs through his solo sets: live didgeridoo and percussion over a 145–155 BPM pulse, instruments gathered from all over the world, and the circular-breathing trick where the note never stops to take a breath. With more than a thousand shows behind him and collaborations alongside Armin van Buuren and Vini Vici, he opens the Sun Stage the way a day opens — one long, unbroken line of sound, drawn out by hand under a sky about to go dark. 🌑
