Proof of life. I’m trying not to carry my phone on my person, but I’m still here, still missing #partyfacethecat but hoping to sink into more music creation this fall 🍂 by @greghxc

Note: pet loss content below

I haven’t known how to even start this. We said goodbye to Partyface on Sunday. The night before he left us, he and I sat outside for a while, looking up at the night sky. I told him I knew it was almost time for him to go back home to the stars, but that I’d never be ready. When we came back in, I was a mess. He cuddled up near me on the couch, and purred, and snrffled. He let me know I’d be ok. And I will be. But not yet. Not for a while.

Oh, buddy.

Thank you for all that you gave me over the years. I’m glad we were able to do everything we could for you. I am glad to have been there for you until the end. I am honored to have been your person, and I will never, ever forget you. I love you. by @greghxc

🎶 The sound of one man walkin’ through the snow can break your heart. But stopping doesn’t help, so on I’ll go 🎶 by @greghxc

Had a great time spinning some Xmas records with @generallynautical this past weekend for an event at @holymtnbrewing . The holidays are complicated for both of us, and I love that we’ve found different ways to participate, confront and even celebrate via collecting and playing music. That we’ve got to do it together the last couple years has been a real gift. I was too caught up in the night to bust out my real camera but I greatly appreciate everyone that came out and gave us a shot (especially Colin and the HM team). Maybe we helped a few of you make it through, too ❤️❄️☃️ by @greghxc
