Back in LA from Burning Man. 🔥

I didn’t post anything while I was there. Cell service was almost nonexistent, and honestly, I’m glad it was.

I’ll take more time later to share what I experienced. For now, this is just a little sign of life to say: I’m safe, I’m well, and I’ve just lived something extraordinary. 😆❤️

Before going, I had heard so much about Burning Man. Stories, warnings, opinions, documentaries, criticism, incredible experiences, terrible experiences. I thought I had some idea of what I was walking into.

I didn’t.

You can hear about the art, the parties, the dust, the storms, the environmental criticism, the money, the people, the madness, the beauty. You can listen to someone who loved it and someone who hated it.

None of it will really tell you what Burning Man is.

And whatever I share later won’t either.

Because I think everyone lives a different Burning Man. So take my version with a pinch of salt too.

All I can say for now is that it went far beyond anything I had imagined.

I went to what felt like the end of the world, into the middle of nowhere, almost beyond the edge of ordinary civilization.

And somewhere out there in the dust, I caught a glimpse of another possibility for how we can live together as human beings.

I don’t think I have ever felt such a profound sense of freedom among other people.

It will take me some time to put the rest into words.

But yes… I’m alive. And something in me came back different. 🔥

De retour à Los Angeles après Burning Man. 🔥

Je n’ai rien posté pendant que j’y étais. Le réseau était quasiment inexistant, et finalement, j’en suis plutôt heureux.

Je prendrai davantage de temps plus tard pour raconter ce que j’ai vécu. Pour l’instant, juste un petit signe de vie pour vous dire : je vais bien, je suis entier, et je viens de vivre quelque chose d’extraordinaire. 😆❤️

Avant d’y aller, j’avais entendu énormément de choses sur Burning Man. Des histoires, des mises en garde, des opinions, des documentaires, des critiques, des expériences incroyables comme des expériences terribles. Je pensais avoir une petite idée de ce qui m’attendait.

A strange, beautiful year of losing, letting go, reconnecting, and learning to trust where life takes me.

Somehow, all of it has led here.

I have absolutely no idea what I’m about to experience, and I think I like it that way.

🇫🇷 Pour ceux qui me suivent en français : ce carrousel raconte un peu le chemin étrange de cette dernière année, entre pertes, changements, reconnexion à moi-même, nouvelles rencontres, et cette envie de dire davantage oui à la vie.

Et maintenant, direction L.A., puis Burning Man avec de très belles personnes. Je n’ai absolument aucune idée de ce qui m’attend. Et c’est peut-être justement ça, l’idée. ❤️🔥
