This is beautiful! May God bless them👏🏾

This is the story of Anja Ringgren Løven and a boy named Hope.

2006: Anja, a Danish aid worker, found Hope in Nigeria. He was 2 years old, severely malnourished, and had been abandoned by his family after being accused of witchcraft - a tragic but real practice in some parts of Nigeria. She gave him water right there on the dirt road.

2013: After Anja rescued him and got him medical care, Hope recovered. She founded the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF) and built a children’s center. Hope was adopted into her care and is pictured here healthy and smiling in a Manchester United tracksuit.

2025: Hope graduated. He’s now a young man in cap and gown, standing next to Anja.

It’s a powerful example of what can happen when someone intervenes early. Anja’s organization has since rescued hundreds of children accused of witchcraft and provides them with medical care, education, and a safe home. by @gregorio_hd_30
