Miniature Vienna by day!☀️
High time to turn this historic city into a tiny toy world using a bit of tilt-shift magic 🔍
Which spot should I shrink next? 🇦🇹

Jahrhundert!🤷🏻‍♂️

Welches Gebäude soll als Nächstes dran glauben?👀

Time for the next City Edit! This time, I am in Vienna’s 13th district putting my editing skills to the test on a true local icon: the Gloriette🏛️
To get that 3D look, I used Gaussian Splatting, a technique that transforms a bunch of regular photos into an explorable 3D model built from a point cloud✨
Spanning 84 meters across, the Gloriette has towered over the palace grounds since 1775, originally built under Maria Theresa as a hall of fame.
Fun fact: Most of the building materials were salvaged from the unfinished Neugebäude Palace. Turns out upcycling was already a thing in 18th century Vienna!🤷🏻‍♂️
Which building should I tackle next?👀

Votivkirche Edit!🤩
Starting a new series where I give iconic places a fresh visual look✨
First up: the Votivkirche in Vienna’s 9th district⛪️
Shot on my FX3 and I couldn’t have made this crazy animation without After Effects!👀
Due to its iconic, distinct architecture, the building lent itself really well to vertical animation, making the build-up effect stand out even more!

As for the glowing loop on top of the towers: instead of deleting it, I decided to blend it in its own way.
I think it turned out pretty well!🙂‍↕️

A lot of brainpower and rendering time went into this one haha. Where should I go next?🤩

Hill Climb Racing made it onto Vienna’s traffic signs again👀⚠️
This time, the daughter escapes her father, speeds off on her bike, and shows what she’s got😂🚴‍♀️
The footage was shot on the FX3 and then edited and animated in After Effects📽️💻

Everything around me is running as usual, but I’m completely frozen in the scene!
Guess Jesolo hit the pause button on me, whether I’m on the beach or roaming the streets🏖️

It’s that time again… the signs in Vienna are starting to move👀

I walked around the city center and picked a few ordinary street signs to bring to life using After Effects✨
It’s crazy how much a little animation can completely change the vibe of a spot you walk past every day🙂‍↕️

Let me know in the comments which edit was your favorite!🤓
