@gregorytelfort DÉVOILE « HUMAN », UN TITRE EN FAVEUR DES IMMIGRANTS

Le chanteur et auteur-compositeur haïtien Gregory Telfort dévoile « HUMAN », un nouveau titre inspiré par les débats autour de la situation des immigrants haïtiens aux États-Unis.

L’idée de cette chanson lui est venue après avoir entendu un commentaire de la journaliste et influenceuse Megyn Kelly sur les immigrants haïtiens. Touché par ses propos, Gregory Telfort explique avoir voulu utiliser sa voix pour défendre la dignité, le respect et la solidarité envers les immigrants à travers le monde.

« En tant qu’artiste, ma mission ne consiste pas seulement à faire danser les gens et à chanter l’amour. Je veux aussi utiliser ma voix pour porter des messages capables de toucher les consciences », explique-t-il.

Contrairement à plusieurs de ses précédentes chansons, souvent consacrées à l’amour et aux relations, « HUMAN » aborde cette fois une question sociale.

Le morceau a commencé à prendre forme lorsque l’artiste a enregistré une mélodie sur son téléphone. Il a ensuite fait appel à son ami d’enfance Yves Clément Michel, dit Dobodo, pour les arrangements, avant de finaliser le projet à New York avec le maestro Jean Max Valcourt.

Avec deux albums studio et plusieurs singles à son actif, Gregory Telfort poursuit ainsi son parcours musical tout en annonçant plusieurs nouveaux projets et collaborations.

Sa devise résume bien sa vision : « Sing today to make generations dance. » by @gregorytelfort
