What’s new in Chicago? Quite a lot. Ahead of our participation in the Chicago Art Fair, our gallery has been transformed. Literally. A brand-new wall has been built downstairs on the first level, now showcasing works by Cédric Boutellier and JISBAR, alongside new arrivals from Taher Jaoui, Mr. Brainwash, and Rodrigo Franzão. We’re also welcoming Mateo, whose distinctive portraits are created on richly patterned Oriental rugs, while a few collector favorites remain on view, including “Flutiste” by Mariela Garibay. Several of these artists will be joining us at the Chicago Art Fair, bringing a selection of works that we’re excited to share with our collectors and visitors. We’re excited to share that this October, we are presenting in the inaugural Chicago Art Fair at THE MART. Our presentation will feature Isabelle Scheltjens, whose signature glass portraits transform thousands of hand-cut fragments into remarkable studies of perception; Nemo Jantzen, known for his intricate “Thread and Nails” and “Dome” series; Taher Jaoui, whose abstractions combine mathematical structure with expressive mark-making; Gregory Watin, who transforms fragments of urban architecture into layered mixed-media works; Rodrigo Franzao, whose dimensional paper works explore movement, repetition, and sustainability; Eric Alfaro, whose richly textured paintings bring a contemporary perspective to Impressionism; Véronique Locci, whose hand-shaped Murano glass sculptures transform light and reflection into immersive forms; Caroline Dechamby, who reimagines icons of art history through vibrant mixed-media compositions; and Lis Sam, whose signature butterfly portraits merge figurative imagery with intricate, dimensional craftsmanship.
