Thanks to all of you who supported me by praying for me, sending me lots of love and light, and encouraging me to “breathe and stay focused”. I have a lot to do so naturally I’ve been taking a break from social media to get it done.

But I came out of my hole to say that.......I AM NOW A WHOLE HELEN HAYES AWARD WINNER!!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last night, I received my first ever award as an ACTOR! (For my non-theater supporters, it’s like the Tony Awards of the DMV region! Pretty major.) I never saw this award coming my way - not even the nomination. 😳#LetsBeClear Lol My surprise was evident in my acceptance speech. 😁

To sum this all up, I am beyond grateful. Won or lost - I’m grateful to have been “looked at” and recognized. I left out so many names in my speech. Truthfully, matched with the power and sovereignty of God, there has been an entire village holding me up over these last 3 years. Many of whom are my friends and supporters on social media. So I wanted to take this moment to say “THANK YOU FROM THE CORE OF MY SOUL”.

Shoutout to Mark Rhea, Susan Marie Rhea, Alexis Hartwick and the entire @keegan_theatre Keegan Theatre family for welcoming me, as well as my extraordinarily talented cast and crew of #LEGALLYBLONDE for embracing me. It was a true honor to share the stage with each of you, every night. To our many audiences, sponsors and donors, thank you for taking a chance on our very special jewel box production! To our creative team: Ricky Drummond, Walter Bobby McCoy, Ashleigh King and Amanda Horne thank you for believing in and trusting me with the space to create my version of Professor Callahan. To my friends and former stage directors Michael J. Bobbitt and Kevin Stephen McAllister, thank you for remaining in my corner every step of the way. You’ve always managed to see things inside of me that I barely knew were there. Because of you, it didn’t take long for people to know my name in the business. I’m clear of that. Thank you.

Thank you to all of my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, supporters, artist community, my students (past and present), and my Pastor and church family.

WE’RE STILL CELEBRATING 😍
Yesterday was one of my favorite holidays. The birthday of my 1st best friend in life. MY BIG SISTER‼️ From these pics, it’s pretty clear I STILL enjoy being the baby and that these days we’re looking more and more like BOTH our parents and also like twins (something we’ve denied for years) LOL.
