We really had an epic time in Brooklyn. Thank you to @bushwickfilmfest and all the Film makers involved in the festival. We were incredibly happy to have shown @therealbushwickbill film where he walked the streets and got his namesake from. Even though Bill was Born in Jamaica and became famous in Houston, it’s in Bushwick Brooklyn where he discovered HipHop. Just being included in the festival was a real honor and I personally never expected to win. We already won just by bringing Bushwick Bill Back To Bushwick Brooklyn. Thank you @kweighbaye and her team for including our film and starting this incredible Film festival which is in its 12th year. Also thank you to the filmfest jury for selecting our film as best documentary. Thank you @princejohnnyc for coming out and also Bill’s brother Tony who came out and helped me get through another q&a.. it’s very emotional for me to watch the film. Thank You to everyone who has supported and worked on the film and we hope to keep screening it wherever we can. #bushwickbill #getoboys #ghettoboys #bushwickbillposse #rapalotrecords #bushwick2019 taken in Bushwick by @gregy.roman
