Il 7 novembre alle 21, gres art 671 ospita “La palestra delle emozioni”, una serata tra musica e confronto guidata dalla pianista Gloria Campaner, da tempo impegnata nella ricerca sul rapporto tra arte, corpo ed emozioni.

Dopo un’apertura musicale, lo psicologo e psicoterapeuta Wolfgang Ullrich terrà una lectio magistralis sulla dimensione psicologica dell’esperienza creativa. A seguire, Gloria Campaner dialogherà con Ilaria Gaspari, Alberto Idà e Linda Messerklinger, esplorando le possibilità e le fragilità che attraversano la vita di chi si esprime attraverso l’arte.

Talent, emotions, and solitude: what accompanies the journey of those who create, put themselves out there, and seek their place in the world?

On November 7 at 9 p.m., gres art 671 will host “La palestra delle emozioni” (The Gym of Emotions), an evening of music and discussion led by pianist Gloria Campaner, who has long been engaged in research on the relationship between art, the body, and emotions.

Following a musical opening, psychologist and psychotherapist Wolfgang Ullrich will deliver a keynote lecture on the psychological dimension of the creative experience. Afterward, Gloria Campaner will engage in a conversation with Ilaria Gaspari, Alberto Idà, and Linda Messerklinger, exploring the possibilities and vulnerabilities that shape the lives of those who express themselves through art.

Dentro un’opera di Isaac Julien se ne nascondono molte altre.

Dipinti, sculture, architetture e oggetti provenienti da epoche e culture diverse entrano nelle sue immagini, creando una fitta rete di rimandi. Da Matisse e Picasso alle sculture africane, dalla Cone Collection agli spazi progettati da Lina Bo Bardi: ogni presenza apre una storia, ogni riferimento suggerisce una nuova connessione.

Paintings, sculptures, architectural elements, and objects from different eras and cultures find their way into his images, creating a dense network of references. Il secondo appuntamento dell’anteprima della terza edizione di Librai per un anno a gres art 671, in collaborazione con la Fiera dei Librai di Bergamo, è con Paolo Gentiloni il 18 ottobre alle 18.

Una riflessione sul futuro dell’Europa e sul valore di una patria comune fondata su libertà, pace, rispetto dell’ambiente e primato del diritto. Un invito a riscoprire l’orgoglio europeista e a immaginare un’Unione più forte e autonoma, capace di affrontare le sfide del presente. Perché si può essere, insieme, patrioti italiani ed europei.

The second event in the preview series for the third edition of “Librai per un anno” at gres art 671, in collaboration with the Bergamo Booksellers’ Fair, will feature Paolo Gentiloni on October 18 at 6:00 p.m.

A reflection on the future of Europe and the value of a shared homeland founded on freedom, peace, respect for the environment, and the rule of law. An invitation to rediscover pro-European pride and to envision a stronger, more autonomous Union capable of facing today’s challenges. Cinema e black culture è il secondo appuntamento con le lezioni di cinema di longtake, parte del public program di Museum Dreams.

Dalla blaxploitation degli anni Settanta fino a I peccatori, la lezione attraversa oltre cinquant’anni di cinema per raccontare l’evoluzione della Black culture e il modo in cui ha contribuito a trasformare l’immaginario contemporaneo.

Un percorso che passa per autori come Spike Lee e Steve McQueen e osserva da vicino il ruolo delle immagini e della musica nel mettere in discussione stereotipi, affermare nuovi punti di vista e raccontare i cambiamenti della società.

“Cinema and Black Culture” is the second installment in Longtake’s film lecture series, part of the Museum Dreams public program.

From 1970s blaxploitation to *The Sinners*, the lecture spans over fifty years of cinema to explore the evolution of Black culture and how it has helped transform the contemporary imagination.

This journey features filmmakers such as Spike Lee and Steve McQueen and takes a close look at the role of images and music in challenging stereotypes, establishing new perspectives, and chronicling societal changes.

Ad aprire il programma il 9 ottobre alle 18.30 sarà Serena Dandini con Paura non abbiamo. Le donne che hanno fatto la Repubblica: un omaggio alle Madri costituenti e alle donne che hanno contribuito a costruire il nostro Paese. Storie di coraggio e partecipazione, per riscoprire le protagoniste della nostra democrazia e riflettere sull’eredità che ci hanno lasciato.

A partire dalla visione di The Long Road to Mazatlán di Isaac Julien, un’occasione di confronto tra arte, attivismo e pratica culturale, per esplorare come si costruiscono le identità e immaginare nuovi modi di riconoscersi e appartenere. L’opera sarà visibile dalle 18 ogni 18 minuti.

Il biglietto ha un costo di 9 euro e comprende l’incontro e l’ingresso alla mostra, utilizzabile anche in un’altra giornata durante il periodo di apertura. Tariffa ridotta di 6 euro per i possessori di tessera Immaginare Orlando o Lab 80.

Identity, masculinity, desire and new forms of belonging. On 21 October at 7.30 pm, at gres art 671, the Public Program of Museum Dreams continues with a conversation on contemporary queer culture, in collaboration with Associazione Immaginare Orlando.
Taking Isaac Julien’s The Long Road to Mazatlán as its starting point, the event brings art, activism and cultural practice into dialogue to explore how identities are shaped and imagine new ways of recognising ourselves and finding belonging. The work will be screened every 18 minutes from 6 pm.
Tickets cost €9 and include admission to the event and the exhibition, which can also be visited on a different day during its run. A reduced rate of €6 is available to Immaginare Orlando and Lab 80 membership cardholders.
The event is part of the special events programme of FUORI TUTTə, the film series curated by Associazione Immaginare Orlando in collaboration with Lab 80 film.
