Redwing Blackbird with yellow Sapphire
Sterling silver with a gold granual, the setting for these gems is a 'home'. I worked with this design a year+ ago, and love the concept of nature IS the home, and our surroundings are precious ✨ Asymmetry is organic, and the cattails, wonky roof and 'stones' frame this beautiful redwing Blackbird, cabachon by @kristin_beaver_porcelain
Her hand painted porcelains evoke sensitivity, and are so enjoyable to spend time with. This piece was slo-made, and when I had tried to hurry up, I just added 2 more weeks to the finish. Yet that's the beauty, taking time to enjoy the process of a celebration of nature💙

Citrine ✨🌼 update -sold
Thick chunk of Citrine with a live edge, cabachon cut by@northernravenstudio , silver lining by me! This pendant was almost ready for Redwing, but it had a 'wait-no' moment on the bench, and I've been reworking it for apparently today!🌞
What I love most about this piece, it seems to be a window of pureness, and the decorative silver and teeny gold granuals are grounding it like a frame. And this drop of sunshine isn't holding any negativity, yet inviting change. So today is definitely a spot of clarity before the cold rain and fall winds get another chance to challenge me. Last day to run barefoot!!
Working on an update for the website. As always, you can message me on the website for inquiries!
Thanks ✨🌾

Bye Bye Birdie
Luckily, I remembered to take a photo ( reminded by my husband actually, cause he knows me) I just finished this beautiful Ocean Jasper Bird with a little Columbian Emerald flower, and I took it to a festival. But the story behind my jewelry is, I tend to work on pieces for days, sometimes weeks and take little breaks, go back and finish it and then I kinda want to hang out with new work. Yet I know it's fabulous that this birdie flew away a day later!
Next up, I'm going to be a sloth for at least a week!

The Cuff of Cuteness
I'm a sucker for bird jewelry, and this fabcab by @indigenized775 is outrageously cool, because it's billiard ball inlay! The second pic shows my own precious, I needed to test drive this design, and I wuv it. I was saving this new birdie for the hallowed season, because it reminds me of candy corn, but whoever selects this will also fall in love! The sterling band is a bit extra long, which I think is comfortable and easy to wear.
Find it first this weekend in @redwingarts art fair!
And enjoy the brilliant colors 🍁

Cannon Falls, @sognvalleyartfair , is BEAUTIFUL 🌿✨
And I'm a SWAN 🦢 lover, so I'm in heaven 💕
There's art fairs in every town this weekend! , or so it seems! But if you come over here, bring quarters, or the Swans won't like you as much 😸

Raven ring and NY Herkimer pendant
New jewelry finished and on it's way to the @sognvalleyartfair 🍁
Raven porcelain by @kristin_beaver_porcelain , set in sterling, and, NY Herkimer cluster cab by @northernravenstudio set in sterling. ( giving credit to my cabachon artists) Also sterling binding bands. The Herkimer was such an unusual shape, choosing how to set it was tricky, but what this grouping of jewelry has in common, it all feels organic in different ways. And I love wearing designs that evoke a little wild side, while sparkling with beauty 🐦‍⬛

MOTH
The days are getting shorter, and cooler! Tomorrow is the September harvest full moon 🌝 already!!! This moth had previously been just silver, but I kept thinking it needed more love, so I added a striped Lake Superior Agate by, naturally, @northernravenstudio ! This stone has the perfect colors and shape for this moth, and I added some stars on the back too. Moths really are mystical to me, especially seeing them in my northern home, however they survive this climate and show up in their furry splendor is amazing. Polyphemus moths, and Cecropia moths were more inspirations, for this piece
