GDVK letní semestr 2025/26 – Monte di Luce

Publikace pracuje s estetikou italských bagnini a vizuálním jazykem typické (a ikonické) výbavy plavčíků. Vychází z atmosféry pestrých barev, klidných třpytících se hladin Lago di Garda,
ale i z bouřek a panických nepříjemných momentů nad jezerem. Stejně jako proměnlivé podmínky na vodě se i v publikaci střídá kontrast syté světle modré s červenou a tmavými černo modrými tóny.

Publikace kombinuje autentické současné, místy nekvalitní fotografie s 3D modelovanými objekty, jako jsou čluny, plováky nebo surfy, které svým zpracováním připomínají hračky nebo turistické suvenýry.

Layout záměrně pracuje s výraznou barevností, vrstvením informací a místy až zahlcující kompozicí. by @gretavbc

◾️ #DesignBlokSelects: The Paradiso packaging and bottle have already been spiced up with a Paralyzed Poem, an illustrated poodle, and hand-painted motifs like a tiger, heron, dragon, and palm tree. This year’s limited edition by Pigmentarium takes a different route. No words, no drawings, just pure tactile design. The project was given absolute creative freedom by Greta Vrabcová, a graphic design and visual communication student at UMPRUM. She interpreted the carefree spirit of summer, along with the fragrance’s grapefruit base, as an ode to imperfection and the kind of happiness that comes despite it, or maybe because of it. “To feel free enough to be imperfect. To live life to the fullest: run, scream, feel, move, chase what you want and never doubt it. Paradise is here, without a single worry.” That’s why the orange Paradiso box and glass flacon are decorated with bold, fingerprints — the kind left behind by hands greasy from sunscreen or melting ice cream.

🇨🇿 Obal a flakon Paradiso už ozvláštňovala Paralyzovaná báseň, ilustrovaný pudlík nebo malovaný tygr, volavka, drak a palma. Letošní limitovaná edice Pigmentaria na to jde jinak. Ani slovem, ani kresbou, ale haptickým dekorem. Absolutní tvůrčí svobodou dostala studentka grafického designu a vizuální komunikace na UMPRUM Greta Vrabcová. Letní volnost a bezstarostnost a současně kompozici parfému s grepovým základem si vyložila jako ódu na nedokonalost a štěstí, které přichází navzdory nebo právě proto. „Cítit se dost svobodný na to být nedokonalý, prožívat život tak naplno, běhat, křičet, cítit, hýbat se, honit se za svým cílem a nikdy nepochybovat – ráj je tady, bez jakýchkoli starostí.“ Oranžovou krabičku a lahvičku od Paradisa proto dekorují jasně čitelné otisky prstů mastných od opalovacího krému nebo zmrzliny.

Introducing a proposal by Greta Vrabcová, @gretavbc.

Part of Paradiso Limited Edition 2026 — a project shaped in collaboration with UMPRUM in Prague, where young authors were invited to translate a fragrance into image, mood, and form. Each proposal captures a personal vision of Paradiso.

On April 7, one of these visions will take its final shape.
